Dear Friends of Fair Elections,

You may have seen stories today about incidents at polling places in Maryland, which, along with several other states and the District of Columbia, is conducting its primary elections. The Lawyers' Committee has been staffing the 1-866-OUR-VOTE hotline from the wee hours of the morning, helping voters throughout the country, answering their questions, addressing their needs, and now, prevailing in an Election Day lawsuit.

As you can see below, thanks to the National Campaign for Fair Elections, our legal volunteers, and our financial supporters who allowed us to activate the hotline for today's elections, we've succeeded in our suit to extend polling place hours for voters who were denied their right to vote this morning. No other organization could do such work to help so many voters in such a short period of time.

The challenges that we witnessed today are indications of what is in store for this November and beyond. The National Campaign for Fair Elections is helping countless voters through programs like the hotline, Election Protection, day-to-day election reform advocacy, and when the need arises litigation efforts assisted by a pro bono network of the best lawyers in the country.

Please help our efforts on behalf of all American voters by making a secure donation today.

Thank you,
