This is the week that all the new age artistic minds get together to see how much more they, collectively, have lost their minds.   But they are no crazier than your average football fan.   To those who attend Burning Man, it's a cultural and artistic experience.   I have never been and cannot see myself ever going.   To me it's like a football game and worse.   Burning Man began in San Francisco as a symbolic contrast and wakeup call to the failings of modern man.   We're burning!   It has become a literal depiction of ignorance, to the fires and the failing attributes of postmodern man.

It is supposed to be a pretend post-apocalyptic getaway to call attention to the fact that soon we might face some sort of apocalyptic event, that we are figuratively burning ourselves.   If Burning Man was anything contrary to the destructive and sickening status quo, it would be called building man.   And instead of going into one of the most inhospitable environments on the planet and building wooden art structures to burn, wasting and consuming time and energy and resources, they would go to Wyoming or Detroit or some other location that would be glad to have sixty thousand people come and build structural art.   After x years out in the playa they could have built a new Detroit, a permanent community, one contrary to the status quo of the modern burning man, burning fossil fuels and nuclear fuels which kill us and, might very well cause drought and desertification and post-apocalyptic conditions like that at the playa.

Burning Man is like the NFL or NASCAR, it's a distraction.   Only to me though, it's worse.   It is a distraction of artists, where great effort goes into behavior as the status quo, building simply to destroy, massive amounts of money is spent selfishly where people are homeless and hungry.   And it's worse to me because a place of art equates to a place of indigos and indigos should be building not playing in the playa and not watching football.   Real art and real contrarian action, real anti-establishmentarianism has nothing to do with pharmaceutical concoctions and Mad Max dress up and building to burn while people go without because of the way of postmodern burning man.   It's worse to me that of any place in the world, the playa this time of year probably has the highest concentration of Indigos and people who realize what an Indigo is than anywhere else in the world and that even the Indigos are happy-go-lucky nowadays.   Check the sites below if you don't know what's an Indigo.

It's as if the worse it gets, the happier people become and they do so by ignoring the facts about the burning man status quo of today.   We're ignoring the energy oligarchies destroying the planet.   We're ignoring the petrolithic era and the nuclear era negatively impacting health and wellbeing of life and future life.   We're ignoring that we are essentially sh*tting in our bed, the toxins from burning oil and igniting nuclear chain reactions is in our blood, it's in our food and it's the air we breathe.   We have altered the planet so as to create the conditions for oligarchical collectivism, the 1% over the 99%, the few over the many and we are so accustomed to it, that even what is labeled alternative is exactly the same formation.   Everyone, at least every Indigo, should be insulted and cursing mad at the conditions of the burnt status quo and do their utmost not to partake in the burning any longer, but actively build.
