Power outage kept us off the air last night Truthseekers, but you were watching Melania's speech anyway, right?
Speaking of which ... the Trumps have demonstrated -- for the millionth time -- that they simply cannot tell the truth. For all of The Donald's bluster about "lyin' Ted" Cruz, you'd think he'd be super-duper careful about the honesty of his campaign, right? Surely wouldn't want to be considered a hypocrite or anything.
But there's Melania, in virginal, virtuous white, lifting segments of Michelle Obama's 2008 convention speech near verbatim.
Worse, when caught, the Trump campaign doubled-down and denied the plagiarism completely. Then Melania claimed to Matt Lauer that she wrote the majority of the speech herself with "as little help as possible." And it appears that her degree in architecture and design from "University in Slovenia" is as legit as her speech writing skills. Multiple sources report that she dropped out in her freshman year as her modeling career took off (along with a lot of her clothing). Damn, almost makes me miss Sarah Palin.
Who cares, right? I mean, Trump didn't marry this babe for her writing, speaking, or architectural skills. The trumped-up degree and cut-n-paste speech isn't the scandal, it's the consistent pattern of lying and covering up (the lies, not the body parts) that is troublesome if you are claiming to be the "law and order" guy who's gonna make America Great Again, and really bothersome if you call everybody else around you a "liar" at the drop of a diamond.
And how stupid is the RNC for not even vetting their hopeful First Lady's background? Are they lazy, careless, or just so accustomed to serial liars in their party that this is no big deal? And what else are they hiding, covering-up, or making up? Trump makes Nixon look like an alter boy.
Well, at least there is Ivanka's speech to look forward to. I'm sure it will be a 100% original and will restore the much-needed dignity to the convention and campaign. I mean, she's the serious Trump relative. The one who converted to Judaism and gave Trump the little Jewish grandchild he could exploit. She will bring the gravitas.
Maybe even wear a white dress, too? Holding these giant bullets, or cocktail shakers, or whatever the hell these things are?
Guess this was taken before Ivanka became a (cough...) serious business woman.
The Trump women all look the same. No wonder The Donald said he would date his daughter, she looks like one of his wives.
I'll say this, if Trump wins the election it will be a First Family we will never forget.
