In the all-male clerical culture, men dominate the Church and see women as lesser. They see women as a threat to their power. This is a time for women to confront the patriarchy.
"As a Catholic priest for 40 years, who are we as men to say that our call from God is authentic, but your call as women is not," said priest Roy Bourgeois.
"This is a grave injustice against women. When there's injustice, silence is complicity. We are here today to call for the ordination of women and to say sexism is a sin," said priest Janice Sevre-Duszynska, ARCWP.
