Whither Art Thou, Bernie? He shills for Russiaphobia, ignoring actual fraud

The very dangerous act of blaming Russia, without a shred of evidence, may be our final ending. To see Bernie Sanders on this bandwagon, with all the money he took from We the People, does not make me a happy camper, to put it mildly. I cannot escape the reality pointed out here, that Sanders IS lying to us, in a most dangerous way.

Shoot the messenger here, if you wish, but I'm advocating listening to the issues first. As always, Debbie Lusignan strikes me as the brightest bulb out there, not yet "discovered" as she needs to be. Her ability to grasp facts and tie them together continues to astound me. Her passion is what I'd like to clone, for myself, and ideally another million people or so. World events would turn for the better in a hurry. The same can be said of many others, of course; David Swanson, John Rachel, Glen Greenwald, Jim Hightower, and so many others come freely to mind. What I like about Debbie is her ability to keep a clear eye on the major political football, that is of course related to all other items.

The issue is, as always, "How to get from here to there?" And we might even say "Where is there?"

On the last question, I'd argue "there" is true democracy, which translates to an aware and active public. And as so many have noted--I'm thinking particularly Margaret Mead and Ralph Nader, realizing there are many others--it is a small number of folks who get the others moving along. Often a very small number. Mead put the number at 2%, Nader at 1% of the population.

And again I present that one person who is passionately and articulately calling on those who care, and pointing to other folks working hard for the good of our species and planet. click here If the Nobel Peace Prize meant anything, I'd nominate this individual in a heartbeat.

P.S. I do realize that the first reaction to news we don't want to hear is to deny it; I encourage and ask others to give it their best shot. I do love being proved wrong and learning in the process.

In my run for U.S. Senate against Utah's Orrin Hatch, I posted many progressive ideas and principles that I internalized over the years. I'm leaving that site up indefinitely, since it describes what I believe most members of our species truly (more...)
