The agreement, which was signed in July 2015 between P5 + 1 members and Iran's representative, will set a dangerous precedent for International laws and orders.

The requirements stated in the agreement go above and beyond the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) requirements. Iran has been a member of this organization for over forty years. As a member, Iran must have the same rights as other members, not fewer rights. Iran is also signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

Indeed, Iran was the first country in West Asia (wrongly known as the Middle East) to sign the NPT in the 1970-1971 time frame. More countries in West Asia and other parts of the world have since then joined the treaty, although at the present time five countries have refused to join. These countries are members of the United Nations.

Iran has been discriminated against on many occasions and this agreement is no exception. This agreement provides Western countries extended excuses and pretexts to attack Iran militarily without resorting to UN resolutions where they might face opposition by Russia and China. Russia and China have also taken advantage of the sanctions and this nuclear agreement to benefit their economies.

NPT has been criticized by those countries that do not possess nuclear arsenals as a conspiracy of countries that have nuclear arms to harass and take advantage of countries that do not have nuclear arms. The countries that have nuclear arsenals have been obligated to agree to nuclear-arms reduction (Article VI). However, this has not happened; reports are made when old arsenals are destroyed, but not when new arms have been added or upgrades occur. Moreover, NPT has been weakened by many bilateral deals made between members and non-members (such as between India and USA, and Pakistan working with China).

Similar inequities occur with the UN resolutions. Over 100 resolutions are ignored when they are against one particular member country but in other cases even one or two resolutions are enough to start bombings, the killing of the civilian population, and destruction of infrastructure that will take many years to replace.

Many of the sanctions on Iran that were imposed by Western countries were illegal and went against international laws and norms; such was the case with the Chicago Convention.

Several people have written that the P5 + 1 agreement will improve human rights in Iran. Iranians have been made to suffer through illegal sanctions for almost forty years; these sufferings may be reduced for a short time but will continue.

The nuclear agreement between P5 + 1 and Iran will be judged as an international sham where countries with nuclear arsenals have dictated illegal measures on Iranians and placed their existence in jeopardy. The rule of force was used to make Iran comply instead of using international laws and agreements.

Similar to what has occurred in the past, there will be unfounded accusations and threats under false pre-texts. Anti-Iran funds and propaganda will not stop because of this agreement.

Iran has suffered because of wars in Afghanistan and Iraq that were started by communist Russia and Western countries. The United Nation has violated its own accord by not helping the refugees from these two countries that have become a huge burden to Iran. The Western countries, Russia, and China will use any trick, revolt, or sanctions to cause chaos and gain access to Iran.

Iran has suffered from separatist groups such as Jendalah members who have received support from several countries. In fact, Saudi Arabia, the founder and supporter of Taliban, Al-Qaida (now Oil-Qaida), and ISIS, has caused many problems for Iran directly and indirectly.

Those who were interviewed for this report stated that they do not expect sanctions to be removed entirely or their life to get much better as long as Iranians choose to be independent.

Iran has been attacked by Greeks, Romans, Communist Russia and Arabs for thousands of years; however, it has survived and will continue to survive. Iranians have shown themselves to be resilient people who love their country. They will continue to fight for it just as they fought when Saddam Hussein attacked their country with Soviet and Western arms and Arab money from Kuwait, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

As long as Iranians remain independent, Western and Russian policies and goals towards them will not change. They will continue their covert and overt operations to control Iran's natural resources. The weakening of Iran because of illegal sanctions will continue after a period of calm that may last for a few years. Nothing will change for Iranians or their human lives or human rights which have been the least of the concern for P5 + 1 countries.

I am a native of Iran, pronounced Eeran NOT Eye-ran. Iran has been in the region properly termed 'West Asia' -- not the 'Middle East' for thousand of years. The term 'Middle East' is a fake and artificial term invented in the 20th (more...)
