Where is America, and Where is it Going?

The reaction of this ex-Democrat and never-Republican, to the recent presidential nominative and electoral processes: Here is yet another example of the Democrats selling out the actual people of the United States. Yes, the Dems oppose the Republicans, but only because they are rivals in the contest for big-money interests.

Current status: The Dems have the big banking interests, as exemplified by their leadership in private locked-door sessions with such as Goldman Sachs and others of the bankster gangs that destroyed America's economy in 2007/8. The Republicans get largely the balance if the big-business interests.

And I must say, with it all, that the Dems ran the more subversive nominative process in 2016, right from the get-go by their party's chairwoman assigning the grand majority of their national convention representatives to their insider-selected presidential candidate. And then later, furtively in-advance providing their selected presidential candidate with the questions to be asked in the presidential debates.

Somehow with all this skullduggery, the Democrats still lost. Yes, I know, there's the debate about the popular-vote versus the electoral-vote, but until and unless the constitutional rules of this process are changed, that is the way the American presidential contests will be decided.

So what do the American people get? What does the world get as its one most powerful individual -- he who sleeps at arm's reach from the "red phone"? You and I and 7 billions of folks around the world get a braggart of a "leader" with the trashiest presidential image of big-money interests in our history.

Perhaps the Republicans will rebel based on his wretched performance, but I would assess that as not likely, considering their penchant for the more rapacious variety of capitalism. And what now can we expect from the opposition -- ah well, nothing curative without a scouring of their current insider gang.

But we do need, must get something beyond these two graft and power-mongering agencies. Dare I mention a third party, without the usual mass reaction of "third-parties never win"? Face it folks, we need a change, the world needs a change in the perverted means by which we choose American leadership and its accompanying world leadership.

We must examine what the Democrats will now do, and thoroughly judge such. If not fully to our approval as a best solution for the prospects of the American electorate and for humanity, then WE must chose a third course, a course for decent leadership, a people's course, a course for humanity.

The examination must start now, with our decisions to be followed promptly to adequately prepare for our next opportunities to select decent leadership in the 2018 and 2020 elections.

Leaving behind a treacherous government now addicted to perpetual war, its limitlessly greedy and power-lusting masters, as well as the retarded albeit smirky Republicans and their evermore clonish Democrat colleagues, a braindead electorate (more...)
