What happens to your brain when you watch the Trump Propaganda Network FOX News? It doesn't inform you, it isolates you. It builds a wall between you and reality that's so thick that reality can't get through. You're not watching the news. You're watching a machine that is designed to keep you afraid, angry, and loyal.
It makes me angry too, but not for the same reason as the MAGAts. I'm angry because this network is deliberately using misinformation to radicalize the weak-minded audience that tunes into this dribble every night.
Fox News uses several strategic methods to distribute misinformation to maintain and grow its MAGAts audience. They lie to their viewers to keep viewer retention. They only show their viewers one side of the story to make them think a certain way.
Fox News keeps its audience watching by telling them things that match what they already believe. They know many MAGAts naturally look for news that proves their own opinions are right, so the channel gives them exactly what they want to hear.
Fox News manipulates the audience toward a particular conclusion on whatever specific topics they see as the most important issues of the day. The Talking Heads often use fear and panic-mongering to create a sense of threat, which always increases the viewer's engagement by tapping into their deep-seated insecurities.
Fox is big on repeating misleading narratives constantly and consistently, like claims regarding election fraud or climate change, to reinforce lies as truth in the minds of their naive audience.
MAGAts that regularly view Fox News are less informed about global and domestic events than people who don't watch the news at all. They are more likely to believe documented and proven false claims such as the lies about covid-19 vaccine and the results of the 2020 election.
Fox News, instead of just telling the truth, focuses on making people feel strong emotions, like being scared or angry, because that keeps them watching. By telling people things that fit what they already believe, even if those things aren't totally true.
Fox News creates a loop where viewers only hear one side of the story. Eventually, those viewers can get so used to this that they stop believing real facts from the legitimate news sources, making it hard for them to see what's actually happening.
Fox News was fined in 2023,787.5 million dollars in a settlement for lying about Dominion voting systems regarding the 2020 election, and 1 million fine and 2021 for widespread sexual harassment and retaliation violations these cases involved knowingly broadcasting false claims and toxic workplace behavior respectively.
So if you want to see fake news turn to Fox they're the baddest mother fakers of it all.
