WE the People are all Socialists

We climbed the evolutionary ladder through social acceptance and societal cooperation, AKA SOCIALISM, and now we are descending it through economic isolation and forced rugged individualism.

What is the point of human society? For the majority of human existence it has been to foster a supportive symbiotic relationship to ensure not only the survival of the species, but also to ensure the survival of the societal groups in which we have always lived and the individual members of those groups. That system has broken down and now inhuman economic systems forces survival on the individual, separating you economically from the society in which you live. This system devours peoples' lives in a forced economic slavery, where you ply yourself at voluntary servitude for less than the value of your services and the life you are expending in the process; where the traditional societal symbiosis no longer exists. To the fullest extent of the word, this system is a consumptive cancer; a malignant un-natural growth that is killing the societal host upon which it grows while consuming natural resources at unsustainable rates. Like all cancers, this growth was spawned from our own social body and therefore the body does not recognize it as the fatal disease it truly is, and, thusly, it is allowed to consume the individuals that form the cells of our societal structure, and will do so until it is excised from the body or until Humanity's death.

The basic social structure for the vast majority of our human existence has been that of the hunter/gather society. If we define our humanness by the size of our brains; genetically we have been the Human species for at least 250,000 years. Recently, in terms of our species age, we have developed a cancer in our evolution. That cancer is the idea that there can be ownership without Socialism. This idea has been used to form societies where natural leadership has been supplanted by rulers who through supposed divine authority or by military or economic power have formed societies where we are being disconnected from the very essence of our existence; their weapon of choice, what we call economics. This economic cancer has been given life and only through understanding this defect can we see the blind spot that allows this cancer to exist.

The 250,000 years of sustained human survival is dominated by the social economy of hunter/gatherer societies; i.e., Socialism. This structure insulated us from the demands that come with living as individuals. Our survival was not self-dependent but societally dependent. We know other species think, have emotions, form bonds and social groups; but what they cannot do is overcome the chemical command structure hard-wired into their brains by their genetic and cultural development. When the chemicals in their bodies tell them to breed, they breed; when it tells them to fight, they fight and when it tells them to flee, they flee. It is in our social stew that we were able as a species to overcome the instinctual centers that rule the animal kingdom and allowed us to become rational beings no longer ruled by the chemical flows that control the all the other creatures on earth. We developed cultural structures where might didn't make right, where there were no alphas or omegas and where the chemical cocktails, which rule all other species, are ruled by our brains. We grew up as a Socialist Specie.

Recently, we developed a term: ECONOMICS. While the term is new, our human economic structures have existed for 250,000 years and as proto-humans for millions of years. Those 250,000 years have been dominated by Socialism. We were provided the Necessities of Humanity by shared responsibilities in a symbiotic relationship between the members of a societal group. For humans, through mutual consent, the vast majority of production of goods and services were a shared responsibility of the culture. Social food gathering & sharing, social shelter construction, social security, social healthcare was combined with social subsidies for those that were not directly involved in the production as the rule. The human societies' young, sick, injured, old, the inept hunter/gatherer and those whose niche might consume their time in non-productive activities were all subsidized in these social societies. Socialism was the main stay of human development. The archeological records are clear that humans hunted cooperatively, shared the fruits of their labors and looked after those members of society who were unable to fend for themselves. This sharing meant social acceptance for all and helped us build the feelings of well-being so necessary for us exercise command over our bodies' chemistries as no other creature. This defines our Humanity.

Fast forward 250 millennia: Members of the landed gentry gathered together to form a new nation (people banding together to form a nation is Socialism at work) and through trial and error (error being the Original Confederate States of America AKA USA version # 1) institutionalized Socialism as the foundation of a new Nation as expressed ever so eloquently by these words "WE THE PEOPLE"".. and proceeded to unfurl all manner of Socialism upon the land. Money... a truly socialist institution... without government backing it's a meaningless concept. Rugged individuals don't need money; they will take what they want without regard... steal as it were, a very natural concept as many creatures steal; ask the bears where they get the honey. A central banking system, a postal service, roads, taxes, eminent domain (what a fantastic Socialist concept; it prevents rugged individuals from stopping the construction of roads, bridges, railroads, telecommunication towers, the internet, electricity lines, and all manner of industrial and real-estate development) and my favorite example of power of Government Socialism: The US MILITARY. Yes, the best and most efficient institution ever developed in this country and it is a 100% government-owned, government-financed, and government-operated system where all the members have full housing, full healthcare, and the full protection of the Socialism of Government.

And the people who say they don't want Socialism are in fact the biggest benefactors of Socialism. The aforementioned benefits (money, central banking system, a postal service, roads, taxes, eminent domain, internet electricity, etc. etc. etc.) need to be added to by my two favorite Socialism-derived benefits: Private ownership, which is guaranteed by the government, protected by the government, and insured by the government. Some may not believe this... just go down to the government office and you can find all the titles to all the land... and my favorite Socialist construct:

Corporations: Corporations are legal entities formed under the power and protection of government that allows a group of investors to spend others' monies while availing themselves to government protection from loss greater than investment. Nothing is more Socialist as a group of people working together to the same ends (even if that end is profit: can we say the health-Insurance industry... what great socialists... banding people with healthcare needs together for profit).

This should make sense: The rich and powerful have used Socialism for themselves and don't want others to have Socialism because it means more for themselves. Let's face it; they are the needy greedy infants in the sandbox who want to control all the other children, the toys and the sand box!!!

Don't believe that, look at the hypocrisy of the Koch Brothers and Donald Trump and countless others.
