I've been told that the people I am writing about don't like to be put in a bad (honest) light, and retribution is fast and brutal. They are getting ready to move to the East. Their leadership has called on its entire force (approx. 40,000) to mobilize.
Today they killed a judge who sentenced 2 men that took over City Hall in Kremenchug, Poltava Oblast. Two men shot him in the back. Before Maidan started they tore up a photo exhibition that showed historic photos of their movement, and documented their crimes against humanity that no one talks about. The organizer had to flee.
I don't know what's going to happen; no one does, just that it will get bloody. If I have the opportunity I will write more about it, if not I will have pushed back twice at this mess coming our way. This was the first.
I know people on both sides of the Euro-Maidan well. I spent a few years in Western Ukraine and over a year in Eastern Ukraine. They are my neighbors, friends, and family. When they talk about politics and the changes they want in their country; they want the same things, to end the corruption, fix the infrastructure, and bring in jobs.
They are disappointed with the Orange Revolution because it enriched politicians, but for the people, nothing. None of the promises were kept and politicians got very rich.
Economically, Ukraine is heading where Germany was right before the rise of Hitler. Today, they need a strong leader to bring the country forward. It is a shame they might get one.
Right now the US and Europe is pushing Ukraine to go under National Socialist/Fascist government structure. This is what the combined factions of "Freedom, Fatherland, and Punch are offering. National Socialist government is Nazi party rule.
The reason you hear about reverting back to the 2004 Constitution is that it facilitates National Socialists (Nazi) party takeover of the government they could not otherwise do. Representation is taken away from the people and it is illegal for the National Congress (Rada) to vote against party lines. Limit the number of parties and maintaining control is easy. It's why the Maidan revolutionaries don't want to put it to a referendum.
Most of the journalism here is appalling. The propaganda keeps saying there are no Nazi radicals, or very few, and they're not in charge. They insist it's just people and journalists.
Imagine being American, turning on the news to see your country's flag held up by a masked thug, surrounded by Ukrainian Nationalist flags Red and Black (Blood and Soil) held by masked Nazis that need to go a little lighter on the swastikas and Nazi regalia. The Blood and Soil and Svoboda National Socialist flag have been the dominant theme at Maidan.

Pictures are worth thousands of words, and the wolfs-angel or swastika, blood and soil flag, the 88(Heil Hitler) are among the most potent Nazi symbolism shown. OUN stands for Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists. It is divided into two groups (b) and (m). The (b) faction is the group running the revolution.
