Secretary of State Antony Blinken after submitting US written response to Russia's security concerns
Last week when Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Geneva he was told the US would provide in writing a response to the Russian security guarantees it sent to the US and NATO in December.
The US requested Lavrov not release the US response to the public but Lavrov did say he would provide the public with the gist of the US response. Lavrov also said he believed the document would be leaked.
Earlier today Lavrov said, "there has been no positive response" to Russia's core security concerns provided by the US.
