Would you have opposed cancer research and anti-smoking proposals by Hitler because he later became a mass murderer? Did you oppose legalizing undocumented workers when Bush proposed it because he started two criminals wars? Do you oppose making leaders accountable for their crimes and peace with Russia and an investigation into 9/11 because Trump supports them. The paradox of political history is that even great monsters sometimes have great ideas.
And Trump has not (other than his business frauds) committed any great crimes (*I do not put grabbing p*ssy up there with starting wars) and so, I say, in the spirit of supporting good ideas, two cheers for Trump.
I woke up feeling strangely relieved and in good spirits. The 5000 protesters in NY are protesting Trump but he is the result of a bad system, going back to the Constition, not the cause. The protest should be against the DNC for taking out Sanders, who all polls showed crushing Trump.....and the system which ihas given us, in the last 3 Presidents two who had the fewest votes. We should be protesting the lack of democracy not the results of that lack.
Here are my cheers for Trump:
Hooray for exposing the utter corruption of the DNC and Clinton machine!
Hooray for seeking peace with Putin!
Hooray for calling for an investigation for why the Bush regime lied about 9/11!

Ok, I have to take one back to compensate for his unleashing hatred (Muslims being now attacked by Trump supporters) and his original plan to deport "35 million" undocumented immigrants, and his lies about representing the common man against the billionaires....ok, that's good for a laugh, so just deduct half a hooray.
So: 2 1/2 Cheers for Donald Trump, and lets hope his threats for first strike attacks in Europe are just what he calls a "negotiating position." Do what I say or I will start WWIII and blow up the earth.
Is it then possible to support cancer research building highways, etc (Hitler) while denouncing the criminality of the same leader? Yes, because good ideas are worth supporting and that a dangerous leader may also support or promote good ideas does not mean we should oppose.
I know smoking kills 480,000 a year in the US but I oppose new taxes or bans on tobacco because that is what Hitler wanted! Did you oppose Nixon when he created the EPA because he was crook? Did you oppose war criminal LBJ when he pushed the Civil Rights Act?
Oh, one more chear: dismantling the trade deals that fired millions of Americans decreasing govt revenue while increasing welfare costs.
So, 3 1/3 cheers for Trump......hedged by the consideration he may blow us all up.
Conclusion: barring nuclear annihilation Trump has some good ideas, and I support them and him in his promotion of them.
