Moscow used to be a distant country with good vodka 400 years ago. But since they had an emperor called Peter the Great every few years, we had to put up with a murdering conqueror who wanted to take a piece of Iran. Only because Peter the great had advised his children to get to the warm waters of Persian Gulf.

Problems with Russia started when Napoleon invaded Russia and he fooled a stupid Iranian king to make a treaty with France so that he could go through Iran and conquer India (why the hell does a French man want to go to India). Well, Napoleon lost the war to Russians and that gave the excuse to Russians to invade Iran and took all those republics of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Georgia and parts of Armenia. Since most of Russia is frozen unpopulated areas, most of Russians live in southern states. Therefore, that Russian adventure took about half of Iran and increased the population of Russia by 33% who are mostly Moslem and speak Persian.

Then there was about 150 years of continues interference with Iranian affairs and plunders, invasions, rapes and murders. Once Lenin took over, he promised he is going to let go of all colonialist contracts with Iran. However, he died soon and there was Stalin and WWII, Russians needed American weapons, so they invaded Iran from north and the British invaded from the south. They used Iranian rail ways and roads to get armaments to Russia. In 1943 Tehran conference Churchill, FDR and Stalin signed an agreement to get out of Iran once the war was over, but again Russians would not leave until Truman threatened military confrontation and fortunately Russians did not have the bomb yet, so Stalin left.

During cold war there was an uneasy peace between two countries. The brake up of USSR turned the Old Iranian lands to new republics, creating a nice buffer between two countries.

The only real industry in Russia is making weapons and not very good ones. Arabs lost the war to Israel because of Russian weapons. Their weapons did not work in Iraq-Iran war, and they were evaporated in the war over Kuwait.

I do not think anyone reading this article has ever experienced a Russian car, it was called Moskovich, very similar to a piece of garbage like Yugo. Russia is a third world country with thousands of nuclear bombs.

When that KGB lieutenant Colonel showed up in Russia, I got a bad feeling that we are going to be dealing with another version of Peter the great, and my bad feelings turned out to be true.

After all those years of oppression by Russians it is very difficult for me to buy the argument that Nazis or NATO were after Russia. Who wants that frozen graveyard anyway? It was just a good excuse to start a war with delusions left over from peter the great.
