In actuality the Kochs are nothing more than deniers of fact. In their case the truth does hurt them, the truth about global change is but one example.

They also do not accept the fact that their agenda for America does not work, yet they continue to buy their way into that agenda (See ) as we see the detrimental effects to people, our economy, our government as an effective body working toward its commitment to keeping our nation and its citizens safe, not only from outside predators, but from those from within.

Rather than see how far our nation and its citizens have been devastated as a result of a major illness they continue to pay legislators to get laws passed that would abolish Medicare and Medicaid, or any health insurance provided by the government. They have paid legislators in attempt to get "Obamacare" repealed and thrown out. They have even attempted to have their employees, the U.S. Supreme Court hear cases that would eliminate that help to citizens who until its passage were unable to afford or obtain health coverage due to a pre-existing condition.

In addition to not wanting the elderly and disabled to have adequate healthcare, these cretins of democracy and human compassion also want to disband the social safety net programs, namely Social Security. To them it is a "free lunch" program for the elderly when in reality it is an insurance program paid for by the very citizens who will be appreciating the benefits.

For several decades these predators from within had been stripping democracy from the individual states through the "boilerplate bill mill" the American Legislative Exchange Council (aka, ALEC ). The Kochs have paid state legislators to accept the boilerplate bills and introduce them to their respective Congress, then assist them in getting them passed into law. A glimpse of present Governors and the destruction of their state Constitution and programs that is taking place is in direct involvement of the Kochs and ALEC. A few are Scott Walker in Wisconsin, John Kasich in Ohio (it might be mentioned Kasich was involved with ALEC in its formative years), Jan Brewer (ex ALEC member), Nikki Haley of South Carolina (ALEC alumnus), Rick Perry of Texas (ALEC member in the '90s), and there are others, but one can see a distinct Koch lean and move away from the democratic process in those states.

There has been a 3+ decade crusade against "big government" and the Koch have been behind this as they oppose any regulations placed on any industry, primarily the fossil fuel industry, the medical insurance industry (it might be noted the '80s is when the medical insurance industry began their drastic annual increases in premium costs to the citizens. It might also be noted that Reagan's father in-law happened to be a past President of the American Medical Association.

The United States Postal Service, mandated by the Constitution and intended to be self-sustaining, has been a target of the Kochs citing it encourages governmental surveillance of private correspondence. In reality once privatized surveillance will have the opportunity more prevalent only one may not know who is doing the snooping. Maybe Koch "hires"? In any event the USPS is presently on its dying legs as the paid for Congress mandated them into debt by demanding they subsidize their pension plan 75 years ahead to the sum of $5,500,000,000 annually! Imagine, paying a pension for people not even born yet while multi-national corporations are raiding their existing plans for people living now! One has to wonder just who will be raiding the fund that is putting the USPS out of business.

Over the course of the past three decades we have been force fed the notion that allowing corporations to keep their money will allow them the funds to hire more people and pay them better, you know, "The Trickle Down" economy brought to us by Ronald Reagan and touted by George H.W. Bush as "Voodoo economics". It might also be mentioned that several of the key backers of Reagan were ALEC members, even though David Koch happened to be running on the Libertarian ticket as the Vice President candidate.

Once Reagan was elected he named several ALEC members to key positions within the government, thus giving ALEC the necessary "credibility" in order to grow. The Reagan years saw the beginning of fewer taxes being paid by the wealthy and the start of the huge gap between the haves and have nots that we see today. Many multi-national corporations not only pay ZERO in taxes but receive hundreds of millions of dollars in tax deferrals and/or subsidies. Going further, the Kochs are advocating all criminal and civil sanctions against tax evasion be terminated. Thus, no judicial action has been taken against multi-national corporations or the 1%ers while average citizens continue to get penalties.

As for workers and workers' rights the compassionate Kochs would like to see the "minimum wage" law repealed as they see that as a regulation that makes it more difficult for a worker to find a job. In reality, this flies in the face of the "Trickle Down" economy advocated by the Kochs and implemented by Reagan, as they are saying if their taxes are lowered they will have more funds in which to hire workers, yet here they are saying even though they have more funds, they do not want to pay a minimum wage that is devised by economic studies. They continually show they are blinded by facts that may be advantageous to those not in their economic stratosphere.

The Kochs are strong proponents of private schools that are not under governmental regulations. Here again, they reveal themselves as wanting to control everything -- the World of Koch. They are presently "buying" universities through huge sums with contingencies attached where they have the ability to control what is taught and who is doing the teaching. Again, they prove to be hypocrites where they are against regulations set forth by the government, but demand regulations they set.

Going along with their distain of regulations set by someone else, they demand the abolition of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Through their paid for legislators they are well on their way to at best making the EPA a figurehead only as there forces have been diminished to the point where there is little or no enforcement of violations.

The same is true for the Department of Energy, Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Food and Drug Administration, the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and every other agency designed to ensure the health and safety of American citizens and workers. To the Kochs any rule or regulation that is established by someone other than themselves, it should be abolished.

This sentiment might indicate these two have not outgrown the "spoiled little rich kid" syndrome. As adults they could well be considered dangerous to society as one cannot fathom to what extent they may go in order to get their way. From what has been accomplished most thinking people can see the World of Koch can be a dangerous one as there are no rules, except those brought on by those not wanting to share.

They will stop at nothing in order to gain what they want, even manipulate the primary democratic process of voting where we are seeing voting districts manipulated in order to guarantee individual "hires" be elected in order to carry out the duties given them by the Kochs. Should those gerrymandered districts fail, there is also the strictly concealed counting of votes, and we have even seen the bought and paid for U.S. Supreme Court have to over-rule over 500,000 votes to appoint George W. Bush as President even though that went against the Constitution, as in disputes such as that it is the responsibility of the House of Representatives, who represent the people, to decide.
