"It was a dark, lingering moment of small tyrants and the intellectually impaired. A dragon dressed as a B Movie actor was lighting up the countryside -- igneous dragon slobber trickling down upon hill and dale.


The golden haired despot drove the cart erratically down the dire, blessed fairway, threatening all who disagreed -- with the anointed spiky putter or jagged three iron; Mexicans, bookreaders and those of the desert ran before him like turkey in late October. Many called it the epoch of the Loathsome and Unholy coiffure. It was a time of great confusion for scribes and bittersweet for cartoonists.


The great wall was built. Neither antelope nor cockroach could scale its malignant mass. Texas found a sad, quivering darkness along its South. The raucous mariachi music that once cheered the dour could not penetrate the sick palisade.

Oh, how pitiful was the mood of the folk! Neither rich beer nor righteous smokemup could make limpid their dull and dusky thoughts.


Yet Bernie stood proud, although beset, against the horribly ridiculous, terrifying RightWind buffeting him and his lettered, friendly, albeit dazed, followers. The path ahead seemed uncertain.


Until Lo! Yes Lo! Lo, forward came the mighty Surrogates!"


The preceding could be the introduction of a really good fantasy novel. However, it is simply a cheap ploy to be able to talk about how I think Bernie needs to get out the Surrogates.


Roosevelt "Rosey" Grier is a college and professional football star,entertainer and crochet promoter. He was also a supporter and body guard of Robert Kennedy during his 1968 presidential run. I remember seeing him on The Tonight Show around that time. He talked about supporting Bobby Kennedy. It made a big impression on me. He later wrestled the gun from Sirhan Sirhan after Bobby was shot.


Bernie needs to get out the surrogates.
