In the Tao Te Ching the "Tao" (Way) is simply the process of the cosmos. That Way is the intercourse of Yin (female) and Yang (male). Thus, the Sun's ray enters the soils of the Earth and sparks a seed into unfolding (alongside other natural activities such as rain).
The Way of Life is sexual. This is why many parents who talk to their kids about sexuality refer to the talk as the "Facts of Life."
"Wait!" You say. "Sexuality is about what people and animals do."
Ok, and what of the entrance of the Sun's rays into the Earth's garden of delights which then sparks new life (e.g., a tree) to arise from the depths of the soil? Interesting term, "soil." Its simply one vowel away from being soul, an accident?
Sex is the fact of life.It is our foundations, our ground of being.
Sex has two definitions. One is verb and the other is noun. If we ask, "What is your gender," it is defining you by what genitals you have between your legs. This is the noun definition. Are you woman or man? (I hope I don't need to discuss this further!)
The verb definition is simply referring to the act of conceiving. Here, both terms "act" and "conceiving" are verbs.
The Way is the Way be ye planet, plant, animal, atom, or person.
In accordance to the verb function, then we all have male and female powers. Thus, I conceive this article (a feminine function) and its seminal (masculine) piece is simply the spark that fostered the unfolding of these words.
"That's the glory of, that's the beauty of Love" says the song. Life is Love Making!
Could it be that our alienation is simply a rejection of who we are as sexual beings in a sexual universe?
Heaven and Earth make love. When God said, "let there be" in Genesis, He is reported to have said "it was Good." I wonder if, "it was good," could have been spoken with an ecstatic and orgasmic "YES!"
May Heaven and Earth conspire to inspire us. May God enjoy a romp in the sack like the rest of us. Hey, many Christian Mystics are claiming they are God's Bride!
Now as you standardized religious folks say I'm full of it, please read Genesis 1:27. I'm quoting it here, but just in case you want to look it up:
"God created Adamah in His image, Male and Female created He them."
