The Republicans are trying to scam the American public into believing their lies again.
Here's their latest claim: People refuse to go back to work because They get more in unemployment checks.
WRONG!
People who refuse to go back to work will LOSE their unemployment benefits if they refuse to go back to work. So they would no longer be eligible for compensation. If the job is there, they can't refuse it. Most often, the jobs AREN'T there. I'm unemployed and my job won't be back until November, if then. My wife's.......next year!
Also, the WH is considering a 70% rate for federal assistance to claimants. So then if someone is making $1,000 a week then they would then be getting $700 per while those making only $500 a week would only get $350....rich get richer? That's a very familiar Republican policy plan, isn't it?
This is just another reflection of the Republicans' trying to scam us.........And why haven't the Press/Media pointed out this obvious flaw in their reasoning. They too seem to have fallen prey to their misgivings. Time to wake up and do your job....... And how many days before even one question about Russia's bounty? Shame on you.
The whole country seems to have lost its basic sense of logic and fairness and we're all letting the Republicans get away with it.
Make no mistake, they are the ones who are at fault from Trump to the local minions....and let's include the fine folks at Fox for their assistance.
It's amazing that all of this is happening right under our noses and no one is pointing out the decay all around us.
