o first they came for the anti-semites
and everyone (but them) clapped like crazy
because we all knew they deserved their fates
letting the horror caused become hazy
and then they came for the terror poets
who would need enhanced interrogation
they hated us, life, or both, poor pet goats
whose antics changed our belove'd nation
then one day they knocked for our free-thinking
visions of Pol Pot pyramids of skulls
schemed their way to the sky, the unblinking
sun surveilled the offal-high luffing gulls
