Propaganda,
False ads.
They desire poverty beyond
Scantily clad.
In this political age,
In this outrage,
Heave out of this fascist cage.
They won't stop at the page
Of less than a living wage.
Holy water and sage,
They stalk for less than minimum wage.
Gutting American companies -
Corporate welfare,
Bankruptcy,
And tax subsidies.
Hard-working Americans
Taking it on the chin -
A patriotic sin -
Sweeping up the debris.
Shipping our jobs overseas
For wage slaves,
Working people into the grave,
And then they ask them to dig it themselves.
Oh 2012!
Our resources
Delved
And abused.
Chemically infused -
The air we breathe,
The water we drink,
The food we eat.
They don't care about what happens to you or me.
They don't want democracy!
Their brand of freedom
Omits civil rights,
Controls our lives,
Puts their hands in our pockets,
And takes off with the profits.
Some are calling this year
The year of the "Great Awakening,"
If only we stop forsaking,
Stop them from taking, taking, and TAKING!
Before they start dictating,
We have to start reclaiming
Our civil rights.
We have the right to a decent life!
