Spring is the seed time, the season when that 'burning seed inside' wants to burst out, blossom and grow into what it's destined to Be. The Seed contains its' blueprint, the archetypal pattern as well as the nutrients to grow into its' unique form. This seed energy is one of Aries' attributes--the creative fire that yearns for form. What shall it be?
As Above, So Below. As Within, So Without. Flowers and trees are blossoming, and birds are singing love songs and building nests. Nature is waking up after her winter sleep. As Nature births her seeds let your inner seeds open into the world now. Work with Earth's energies to add to your own to make it happen.
Spring holds the qualities of Dawn. Dawn, with its' sudden eruption of light washing the landscape with wonder and beauty, opening our eyes to see the world around us as if for the first time. Open wide. See more colors. What does your world look like?
Spring is a time of awakening, of stretching our bodies, stretching our senses, stretching our sense of adventure. After our winter's sleep, we want to move. How do you want to move?
Now is the time when the Light is rising. This return of the Light is celebrated all over the world. Christians look forward to the glory of resurrection, Jews have hopes for freedom, Hindus call forth love, colors and fun. Pagans know that the Earth awakens again to the Sun's warmth, ready to take into her womb the seeds of Life, just as each person is once again called to a new life, a new story.
It seems the Cosmos really wants us to learn the lesson that it's time for new life and a new story here on Earth. After 7 squares between Pluto and Uranus in the last three years, and a solar eclipse at the end of the zodiac, there's a lunar eclipse coming our way to ensure that our unconscious (the Moon) gets a say in where we're headed. When the left-brain, rational Sun consciousness withdraws, our inner psyches can open up and tell us what that Sun keeps repressing. Our mystical brain tells us things our rational brain can't comprehend. Perhaps it is telling us about its need for a freer, creative, more sustainable life for all of us?
During eclipses, the gravitational and electromagnetic fields around the Earth shift, affecting our cellular structures, inducing evolutionary shifts within us. The effects of any eclipse will be strongest in those of you who have planets aspecting the eclipse degrees. For others, look in the houses where the eclipse occurs in your chart.
Now is the time to get outside and get back in touch with Nature's rhythms. Did you know that our brains are in synch with the Earth's pulse? We are connected. Yet all our electronics are distributing that connection. Time to shut off the phone and computers and align ourselves with the Source of Life--Mother Earth. Our new life needs that nurturing.
