The summer is winding down, students are back in school and the weather is finally turning cooler here in the northern hemisphere (only 96* ), while our friends down south are coming out of winter and are just a few weeks away from spring. Change is in the air! This month's Virgo soli-lunar cycle finishes up the first half of the astrological year. It's time to set our house in order.
Like Alice's hookah-smoking caterpillar, it's time to ask ourselves, "Who am I?" Are you confused (Neptune in Pisces across from Virgo) like Alice with all the change that went on this year or have you moved through confusion to clarity? How have you changed since this time last year? Do you belong to yourself? Are you true to yourself and your vision? If so, name yourself to know yourself. Each sign poses us questions about life. Virgo's most important question is "Do you know who you are?' And then the Virgin asks, "What have you given birth to this year?'
Virgo is the 6th sign of the zodiac, completing the personal signs that range from Aries to Virgo. Virgo's energy looks for patterns of perception and behavior that complete us; that make us whole. Virgo wants to perfect, complete and integrate those new perceptions and behaviors that bring our Body, Soul and Spirit into harmony. Virgo works toward the health of our total being. We do this by uniting our left and right brains, our masculine and feminine consciousness--by thinking holistically.
It's time to integrate everything we've learned about ourselves this year. How have you integrated the experiences and meaning of 12.21.12 or of that 3rd Uranus/Pluto square in May? Did you find healing with the grand water trine from this summer and the Blue Moon at the very end of Aquarius/Leo? Do you have the resolve and energy to handle the cardinal grand crosses being form by adding Jupiter in Cancer and Venus (and later Mercury and Mars) in Libra to the transformational Uranus/Pluto square?
