Tax Breaks for Billionaires... Create Jobs?

This morning, December 10, 2010, while watching the "news" on my television I heard Obama say that if the Bush era tax cuts to the millionaires and billionaires weren't extended it would cost millions of jobs. Really now, millions of jobs?

This is strange because on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, he said that extending the tax breaks for the millionaires and billionaires will create "290,000 jobs."

The conclusion immediately jumps into mind that at least one of these statements has to be false. Possibly  both.

"Now," I asked myself, "why would he make these two statements only a couple of days apart and expect us to believe both of them?" Then I realized that he may think that we're all idiots. Or, could it be that he just doesn't think that it matters what he tells us because he's going to push with every fiber of his soul for whatever the corporate, psychopathic puppet-masters  want  anyway?   He must figure that we'll all cave in on our demands.  That does seem to be the case, because today he called Democrats who object to more welfare for the corporate world "purists."  I'm impressed.  He almost showed some human emotion, but for the wrong cause.  He should be fighting for the ordinary citizens of the United States of America and not for the millionaires and billionaires of the United States of Corporate America.

I also watched the corporate "news" media on CBS interview corporate "experts" who, of course, support  Obama's position and warned that we could "be facing another recession" if the tax bill isn't extended. Could the newscaster's words and the opinions of the "experts" be colored by the fact that they're making a whole lot more money than our middle class?

So, let's all be afraid of things getting worse if we object. It's good for the corporations who create the jobs. Â But, create the jobs for whom? Not for us. But, who?

The answer to this is that the greediest of the greedy, the corporations, create jobs for the sweatshops of China and elsewhere to be filled with exploited children and adults who work 60 to 100 hours per week and may be paid only $125 per month, well below the stated wage minimum of $0.43 per hour to $1.01 (2010 figures depending upon administrative area.).

So, there we have it, folks. The answer to why we should cave in to the demands of the millionaires and billionaires.

It's because they're greedy and psychopathic  and they always will be. They don't care about anybody or anything --just as long as they get richer and richer-- and richer.

Should we give in?

Hell, no!
