   Today I awoke with angst.
I went to a Course on Miracles. My Teacher suggested that
I attend in order to meet intelligent souls.
She advised me that when I attend, that I should not speak
up because it may affect how I was perceived.
I was told to say that I was interested in the Illuminati if
I were asked what my interests were.
I attended a class prior. At that meeting I only
spoke to read the book of text or ask some
     general questions, otherwise remaining silent.
Today I was greeted by the question of how I was doing.
I said that I mourned the loss of George Carlin.
The response was that he did not die really.
I accepted that. I asked if they saw William Kristol
saying that if Obama seems to be the most likely
to be chosen the next President, Bush will bomb Iran.
And if McCain seemed more likely, he would not.
The response I received was that it is meaningless.
I said that good and evil is not meaningless.
I was told that I was in a church and it is not their
   purpose to talk politics.
I said I am not a Republican, Democrat, or other
   supporter of any party.
Then I asked if he cared that a million Iraqis were
   murdered in an unjust war.
I asked if he knew what the two words" depleted
uranium" meant.  He said something to do with
nuclear power. I asked him to Google the words.
He said he did not own a computer and it does not
     matter anyway!
He said it was whatever God wished.
I was upset by this time, and told him that I must be
    in the wrong church!
I told him God bless you as I left the premises.

I am glad I chose not to greet the pastor with the
Carlinist "f*ck BUSH". Therefore,  I feel as if I was
        quite cautious in my speech.
Would Martin Luther King Junior have been deemed
a trouble maker for not accepting evil and hate by
     this church?
I was going to suggest a less preachy name for the
group, such as  The Course on Miracles, the smart
alternative., or The  Course on Miracles, a roadmap
        to serenity and sanity.
Now I would be more inclined to say that they are
acceptors of evil and blind to suffering and death.
I wish them well, but I believe that I have a purpose in
life, and that it is not to accept, or condone evil and power.
Amen!
