Jim Murtagh, the President of the International Association of Whistleblowers (IAW), called today for increased vigilance against terrorist attacks on the thirteenth anniversary of the worst disaster in U.S. history. "The 9-11 warnings of federal air marshal Robert J. MacLean have come true. The reduction of air marshals on commercial airliners has led to increased risks to the American public from ISIS and Al Qaeda today," Murtagh said.
David Nolan, a former National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) steward, called on all labor organizations to back MacLean in his U.S. Supreme Court case to return to work following his contrived firing by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Nolan's amicus brief filed today raises the recent admission against interest by DHS's Andrew Colsky that he violated MacLean's rights with a retroactive and speculative Sensitive Security Information (SSI) classification as a "misconduct" basis to terminate his non-probationary federal employment.
Nolan, a former White House attorney and Constitutional Law author, called on the Obama Administration to "return the Executive Branch to the rule of law." Nolan's treatise on Amazon Books, Quest for Freedom, traces the origins of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Nolan cited the current Constitutional crisis of the CIA of Obama's Executive Branch being caught spying on the U.S. Senate. Senators Udahl (Colorado) and Heinrich (New Mexico) have called for the resignation of CIA Director, John Brennan.
Murtagh has initiated California litigation regarding those attempting to interfere with his First Amendment rights of free speech and association. Defendants include Clark Baker.
The U.S. Supreme Court has accepted only forty, instead of its usual eighty cases for this year's term. The MacLean case to reestablish the rule of law is the most important among these. The Obama Administration's appeal in case 13-894 attempts to overturn its loss to a unanimous panel of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Supreme Court oral argument is scheduled for November.
