Sonnet: Our Recount Blues

The sad, sad, sad, sad reality is
our system says that Trump need not concede
the election until -- we all agreed--
the four recount states are done. Regardless
of the hurry the Press is in to preen
the new old parrot of the blue deep state
who will squawk on cue about right wing hate,
the norm, unity, decency...Be seen
as a useful tool of the uppercase
restoration of our Democracy,
