Bitter...the term NObama used to vilify the working poor and middle-class in semi-rural states.

Well, he identified the wrong group as bitter, and for the wrong reasons.

We bitter ones are the ones who have realized that we no longer have a real say in who is presented to us to vote for; we bitter ones are the ones who realize that the leopard doesn't change his spots, and that NObama will sell us out as fast as anyone else will, just like he sold out his former pastor, when after 20 years as a faithful congregant, the light of ambition and self-interest switched on and he realized that Reverend Wright was a political liability. Just like he is selling out the young left who supported him for his empty promises of change, then embraced the Supremes' ruling on guns and the possibility of a much longer stay in Iraq - as well as the idea of funding faith-based initiatives instead of religiously-unaffiliated groups to help people in struggling communities.

As for McCain't - the man is a bumbling fool. He's working his hero image to the bone while bending over kissing ass in South and Central America, kowtowing to what he sees as a monolithic Hispanic vote in the US - which it is NOT. This idiot is wandering around the country to places like Ohio and Michigan - where jobs are disappearing more rapidly than a politician's word of honor - and standing in front of discouraged Americans telling them how free trade will bring hope and employment back to our moribund economy. He's waffled so many times on immigration he could open a pancake house.

McCain't and NObama - a rock (from the neck up) and a hard place (the heart).

I will vote, and I will vote for smooth-talking slick NObama, but ONLY because I care about the future of the Supreme Court, and hopefully NObama won't let us down there. But marking that paper ballot under the Democratic ticket will be one of the bitterest pills I have ever had to swallow.
