SUGAR. A bed- time story for our President

Our President Barack Hussein Obama ( BHO) likes bed- time stories. Here's one for him.

During the WWII an obscure physicist named Al Einstein wrote a letter to FDR indication a weapon potential of the nuclear fission and suggesting that the US should start doing something about it so that Hitler does not get the weapon first. At first FDR did not pay attention to the letter from some egghead. But then he had shown it to some of his friends and one of them ( I think it was Harry Hopkins) told him a story about an American inventor Robert Fullton who after several unsuccessful attempts offered his steamboat to Napoleon I. French engineers tested the boat on the Seine and came up with negative reviews. Napoleon refused to fund the project. If he had agreed at that time the steamboats would have carried an invasion force to England and the whole world history would have been quite different. FDR thought about it and commissioned a Manhattan project with all the consequences we now know.

That's about FDR. And here iss the sugar story for BHO.

During the WWII the two Allied cargo planes were taking off from neutral Portugal with passengers on board. The first one took off all- right but after 3min. in the air both engines stalled and the emergency landing was performed right in front of second group of passengers. While the wreckage of the first plane was towed away the second pilot calmly turned on the engines and shouted to the passengers :

- Sugar!

- What?

- It was sugar. They put sugar into the fuel tank. It works with the delay, the injection system clogs while in the air.

- Why do you think you have no sugar in your fuel?

- No worry. My mechanic slept on board the plane!

The plane took off and reached the destination with no problems.
