I participated in another debate on PressTV on Saturday, November 19th. We talked about how Trump is doing-- keeping his campaign promises, uniting the country after a divisive election.
The Debate - Donald Trump's Emerging Cabinet by presstv
PressTV cites my commentary:
""He promised to clean out the swamp, [but] he appointed Reince Priebus, the head of the GOP. That is the second most powerful person at the White House. Where is that "cleaning out the swamp" or standing up to the establishment? It's not." he exclaimed.According to Kall, Trump is appointing people who don't respect the Constitution, or the law, or individuals from different faiths. The appointees are dangerous threats to the Constitution and the democracy that, according to him, have been built over the last 50 years in the US.
"I think there were a lot of people in America who voted for Trump because they were hoping that he would bring an end to this situation, that he would drain the swamp and make the real change happen. But that is not what we are seeing. We are seeing Trump putting his arms around and deeply embracing the Republican establishment, the most right wing, the most extreme conservatives, the biggest haters, the most intolerant people in the Republican Party," he underscored.
"The signal Trump is sending is that 'I got you, I tricked you and now I am going to do what I wanted to do because that is what I do.'"Trump is not the independent that people were hoping. He is not draining the swamp. He is not cleaning the system. He is diving in deep."
"Keep in mind this guy is a narcissist, a psychopath and they do things to control other people for themselves," Kall concluded.
