Paul Beckwith, one of my favorite climatologists, remains something of an optimist. Which I respect and appreciate, even as much as I fear he misses much of the biological interconnections and extinctions so well underway. Or, given his brilliance, simply doesn't wish to bring them into the equation.
As much as I appreciate his keeping his videos to 15 minutes, the abrupt endings are a bit disturbing, and I'd personally prefer more, though I know he's trying to operate in the confines of the maximum attention span of all too many or most people watching, at least in the U.S.
