It is up to us to decide whether we will continue to consent to the psychopathy of the ruling elites and hence our own, or whether we will grow up to become responsible humans. Will we continue to lazily allow ourselves to be divided against each other, manipulated to hate each other and conquered because we cannot see how we are being played again, and again or will we act as patriots who love our land and people and want our families to live in a country that will be better for them with each passing day?

So, my fellow human beings living in the United States, whose government is it anyway?

Beginning in the early years of our American socialization in groups , usually at school, assemblies, sporting events, as part of our indoctrination we were trained to sing that god forsaken Star Spangled Banner and trained to recite the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

The most important phrase in the "Pledge of Allegiance", an article in The Post, by Danielle Allen a political theorist at Harvard University on February 13 at 2:30 PM.

The article provides some background to help remove the scales from our eyes in order to look at what we Americans do to ourselves and to the world. Despite the fact that we have abdicated the control of government to God knows whom, it remains our responsibility to know exactly to whom we have abdicated this control and whether we want to continue down the path we are on.

The comments to this article are also instructive as some of them express the psychopathy of those who identify with a government that behaves as the US government.

Despite voters having an apparent ability to vote for our "representatives" how are the choices put before us, [it is us folks-we are the ones who put the choices before us] so that we go through the act of voting for our representatives? I think it is pretty clear by now that something occurs between where our representatives are elected and subsequently when the entire thicket becomes overgrown and no longer act responsible to those who elected them. Somehow as the political structure changes from local to state to federal, those representatives seem to become less susceptible to local control.

Bring our representatives home.

Perhaps part of the problem is that our representatives as they move up from local to national political offices they also physically move further away. This avoids acknowledging that we are a bunch of lazy asses who don't know how to tend to our crops. We allow the weed$ of the elite$ to choke off our consent. The human mind can interpret distance away from something as a safety factor in terms of escaping danger, or another may interpret allowing their representative to move away, to the state house, to DC, creating physical distance as losing control of their representative. I can see that from both sides. Still if you are in small town USA and your representative is in DC, how can you choke or slap him upside the head for doing something stupid and evil if you cannot easily reach out and touch him?

Perhaps the key is bring our representatives back home to the local level, and make sure that he doesn't spend tax money to build a panic room in his office. Given the technology available today that should not be a difficulty for conducting legislative matters of the state or federal governments. In this act our representatives are always close, so to speak and in a physical sense more accountable. They need to know that we will kick their mofo-ing ass if they try to go Slick Willy on us.

As for holding hearings and requesting the appearance of the Executive branch, let's figure how to make them indirectly accountable.
