I recommend watching the Youtube video "The Lost Century". (1.45 minutes) about the cover-up of 100 years of quantum technology with host, Steven Greer*.

(Heads-up: In Greer's presentation he does not clarify that many of the images of documented UFO sightings that he discusses in detail are artist's conceptions of those sightings. I think he just assumes that his audience can differentiate between actual footage and artistic interpretations.)
I have been convinced for some time that the "alien" technology that has been witnessed by ordinary people for a hundred years (under the generic filing, UFO sightings) is not alien but very human Quantum technology. This video supports that contention but connects a bunch more dots.
The cover-up and stealing of this technology by unscrupulous secretive agencies has resulted in the creation of a world very much like the one depicted in The Matrix. We are living a bad dream that we have been groomed to accept and maintain, from which we awaken at our own risk.
Having access to two realities is normal for a shaman but schizophrenic for almost everyone else.
The shaman is outside of the grid of obsolete assumptions that keep those of us in the middle world imprisoned in a programmatic grid that controls how we process reality like an all-powerful algorithm. What this means is, we are living and dying and having babies inside a kind of Matrix where a code of tenacious assumptions holds sway over everything we do and think. Everyone is stuck in the program, even those who police it. (The only people who are not stuck in the Matrix are those who live by assumptions that are foreign to the Matrix and that are not boxed in by the grid of ordinary consciousness, including artists, psychonauts, visionaries, recluses, poets and those raised in older indigenous cultures.)
The assumptions that underpin the Matrix are like the tenets of an inflexible almost religiously defended worldview where everyone believes in and lives by the same orthodox absurdities. Steven Greer is deconstructing some of these foundational assumptions by trying to produce convincing evidence that certain inventors, scientists and technicians over the last hundred years, have harnessed quantum theory to invent weightless flight and zero-point energy generators.Their (these inventors') mistake was, they tried to patent their devices. If these brilliant fat-in-the-frying pan inventors had managed to quietly mass-produce their devices, and mainstreamed the technologies they were pioneering (Greer points out) we might not be living in the Matrix today, but in more of a paradise founded on very different assumptions. Instead, according to Greer, all successful experiments with quantum technologies in the private sector have been covered up, maliciously stolen and repurposed by parties that serve the Matrix.
