Wait. Wait! Listen up! Attention! A huge disaster has occurred - is occurring - in Iraq. No, not the ongoing death and destruction. Not the killing and wounding and mental destruction of thousands of young Americans; not the killing and wounding and imprisonment and torture and incineration of tens of thousands of Iraqi men, women, children and babies. Not any of that. That is all incidental bullshit, events of absolutely no importance to the Prime Directive of the Thunderous Killing Machine. The Prime Directive of the Thunderous Killing Machine is to get the oil. Just get the oil. Smash anything and everything that impedes or delays or attempts to prevent that directive. Get the goddam oil! Lives, homes, antiquities, infrastructure, fetuses in the womb, all of it is worthless to the Prime Directive. When Corporate America builds a Killing Machine such as the one murdering not just Iraq, but also the U.S. Constitution, this country's honor, and the rule of law, everything is incidental to the Prime Directive: Get The Oil!!
The disaster began this morning when the Iraqi government opened six of Iraq's oil fields to international bidding as the raped and torn nation attempts to boost its daily production of oil.
It is not to happen that way. No bidding. Bidding is bullshit. Bidding is not why the Thunderous Killing Machine has been operating in Iraq for more than five years. Exclusive Rights and Absolute Control of Iraq's oil have been, and continue to be, the only organizing principles involved or considered. Bidding is not what a U.S. team of "advisers" led by a small State Department team had in mind at all when it drew up the contracts between the Iraqi government and five major Western oil companies.
The NY Times article is the first incontrovertible proof of direct involvement by the Bush Crime Family in secret, slimy deals to steal Iraq’s oil; of the plans to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of lives; of the determination by this country's Corporate Masters (Oil Division) that no price - in terms of innocent lives was too high, too blood-soaked, too horrifying for their objective: Get the goddam oil.
In their role as advisers to the Iraqi Oil Ministry, American government lawyers and corporate oil thugs provided template contracts and detailed instructions on drafting the contracts. The contracts were expected to be awarded today to Exxon Mobil, Shell, BP, Total and Chevron. No bidding. Just handed to them. Bidding means you are not using your Thunderous Killing Machine optimally. And that, is simply not allowed.
But, then, the real tragedy struck this morning when the Iraq Oil Ministry said, cutting away basic diplomatic language, "f*ck you, Corporate America (Oil Division)." Uh-oh. That's not at all nice. That's not what the U.S. Fighters for Corporate Freedom want to hear. That tends to seriously irritate the Thunderous Killing Machine. It is not at all in keeping with the Prime Directive.
Adding lethal (to him) insult to this grievous injury, Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh denied the country had ever considered a no-bid process, saying "there was never any intention to award the contracts without (bids)." Al-Dabbagh apparently decided to ignore the influence and power and killing potential of U.S. Oil Corporations on the Iraqi government's oil decisions, saying "politics does not come into this." In a show of gritty yet fatal independence, he added, "There is no preferential treatment for anyone, no matter who."
Good-bye Mr. Al-Dabbagh. Your few remains will be sent to your local tribal authority. Eventually.
So. A massive shock to the system. A sort-circuiting of The Plan. A need, now, to re-program the Thunderous Killing Machine. A new Prime Directive is called for. A new Iraqi Oil Ministry and Oil Ministry spokesman is required. As a diversion a new country is to be destroyed while the necessary changes are made in Iraq.
Allowing open bids on Iraq's oil contracts are a slap in the face to the U.S. This is an outrage. An absolute outrage. And it will be stopped.
