Prior to the news that the United States had allegedly killed Osama Bin Laden on the already notorious day of May 1st, reports were coming out that the Pentagon was planning to move its predator drones out of Pakistan 1) to assist the takeover of Libya, and 2) to move into the Pacific to monitor China's building forces, as well as protect Taiwan against China in the event of a surprise attack. Predators and Reapers will also be stationed in Japan and South Korea, providing more "persistent" coverage of the Chinese coasts.
Already U.S. Global Hawk drones have been flying over Japan to survey the quake damage. Prior to the earthquake in Japan, China had announced a 12.7 percent hike in its defense budget, causing Japanese leadership to push for a strengthening of its forces in the southwestern Okinawan islands. Many in Japan feared that the United States would be unable to defend the country from China if conflict arose. Japan has faced intrusions of its airspace by China in the past, as well as an incident over a coastguard ship that was hit by a Chinese trawler near the Senkaku islands. The Japanese arrested the Chinese captain and China detained members of a Japanese construction company that were working in China. China also halted its rare earth mineral exports to Japan as a negotiation weapon.
Earlier in the year Chinese workers living in Libya fought with looters in an uprising that the CIA and MI6 have been involved with even before the U.S. and its allies "officially" intervened. The rebels attacked at least 27 Chinese work camps. Over 30,000 Chinese workers were evacuated from Libya and Chinese companies were forced to suspend projects worth billions of dollars.
On the night of Bin Laden's alleged death, cable news networks were talking politics, using the line "Obama got Osama" and speculating about how this will help the president's re-election campaign. Ten years of police state legislation has been secured as law by a corrupt and mostly useless Congress. Thus the false flag event of 9/11 has had its desired effect.
With preparations ready to move the United States' drones from Pakistan to stare down China even before Bin Laden was unthawed and then shelved as the national boogeyman, the question should be asked-- is the U.S. wrapping up the outdated story of the "War on Terror" in preparation for a new one?
