Part 1: Cassandra Syndrome, loss of reason, loss of action, loss of choices
First of all, this commentary is not about race, creed, tribe or color. It's not about liberals, conservatives, independents or couch potatoes. It's about the world population predicament coming to America, Canada, Europe and Australia. Secondly, it's the most not-talked about, the most dismissed, the most rejected and the most suppressed issue of the 21 st century both in the USA and around the world. Thirdly, it's about humanity's dilemma and all living creatures on this planet. Fourth, let's address it and solve it before it cannot be solved other than a Malthusian, Darwinian and Ehrlichian solution. Remember that Mother Nature always bats last.
Americans talk about human overpopulation as if "it" affects only Asia or other places around the globe. But the fact remains that "it" floods into this country daily, monthly, yearly, decade in and decade out.
As you may know, I have attempted to educate the American people as to the long term ramifications of relentless immigration. I've spoken on hundreds of radio stations and all the TV networks as to what we face by adding another 100 million immigrants by mid century. That's correct: we remain on course to add 75 million immigrants by 2035 and 100 million immigrants by 2050. They continue as the driving force of our population explosion. I have talked to my U.S. senators. I've spoken to Republican clubs, Democratic clubs, Rotary, Lions, Audubon, Sierra, church groups, colleges and high schools. I have shown them graphs and slide shows as to the ultimate ending of endless immigration-driven population growth. I have visited all those cities that house up to 36 million people. The sheer crush of humanity has not warned those civilizations to stabilize their numbers. They continue growing without pause.
Their citizens live in utter despair and hopelessness as to their conditions. India stands at the forefront of sickening human compaction and poverty, yet it continues to add 12 million people annually, net gain. The citizens of India are so steeped in their religions that they won't save themselves. It's beyond incomprehensible to anyone with a rational mind.
While I write and speak with facts and integrity, I get called scurrilous names by those that would flood America endlessly with unfathomable immigrant numbers--from a line that grows by 80 million desperate humans globally each year. Who is guilty of it? The Catholic Church, Lutheran Church, Islamic Church and our own U.S. Congress. In reality, all of humanity is guilty of denial of this problem.
No matter how much common sense I bring to the debate, I am exasperated that most Americans do not possess a clue as to the final outcome of that added 100 million. And another 200 million beyond that to double U.S. population to 600 million by 2070. I don't know if our citizens are blind, deaf and dumb, or so apathetic that nothing bothers them as long as it's "okay" today.
