I posted an article not
long ago offering free Bernie Sanders' bumper stickers. I see this as one of
the more effective ways to get word about Bernie around, when you consider how
many other drivers will see it in the normal course of most folks' day (if you're
on a bicycle, accolades to you, and shame on me when I'm not!). I know bumper stickers
are not in great demand anymore, but my view is that if you're seriously behind
Sanders, here is a simple way to get the word out (I'm told the stickers will
later come off easily with nail polish remover or other solvent, or they can be
Scotch-taped to the inside of a rear window or other prominent place).
I had a few hundred of these made and am offering them for free. Just drop a self-addressed, stamped envelope to me, Daniel Geery, 1941 Sergeant Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. Delivery to the address you provide should take ten business days or less from the time I receive your S.A.S.E. (possibly a little longer if I'm between runs).
You can find many other "Bernie stickers" out there, but from what I can see, most are for sale and many supposed "free ones" are not presently available. However, poke around online and you may find another that suits your taste better. I did get a URL, but the more I've contemplated it, I believe a critical mass of those of us already committed might well eclipse the MSM in spreading the word about this amazing candidate.
Donations are welcomed but
not required. Do note that any proceeds go to getting more rounds of bumper
stickers out the door, into the streets and, ultimately into the awareness of
Americans. Also, please feel free to post a link to this piece in any Sanders' article where it seems relevant to potential readers.
Anyone wanting to know more about Sanders would do well to check both his own words and his voting record, which speak for themselves far better than others talking about him (see www.berniesanders.com). My personal goal is to do what I can to help get Sanders through the primaries with flying colors (and since the primaries do vary from state to state, even from year to year, I'd suggest calling your government voting registration office; here in Utah the primary is supposedly next February and you need not be a Dem party member).
P.S. As much as I prefer comments and dialogue, I'm asking that there not be any here. If you want Sanders in and would like one of these stickers for a stamp and envelope, go for it. If not, there isn't much to discuss. Should you feel compelled to say something, you can of course reach me through OEN email.
