Dear Mr. President

On Saturday. Aug. 28 Glenn Beck plans a rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. He will speak, maybe Sarah Palin will speak, maybe some others. It will be a culmination Tea- Party rally against you, Sir. You better come. You better speak. You better fight for your people.

They are your people, Mr. President. Those who will stand there, listening to the venom spewed by Beck are the people lost. Yes, of course, there are some among them who do it deliberately, for money, for power, for malice. But a lot of them are truly lost. They have no jobs, they have no future, they are very afraid and they do not know whom to listen to. So they listen to the Fox News and Glenn and Michel and Sarah and there is nobody else to listen to because, you, Sir are not talking. Since the day of inauguration you had avoided like a plague the clear explanation of your goals, the specification of your convictions and also your preferences. You talked a lot- but it was a political talk. Your actions were indecisive to say the least, controversial at best. And it is not clear still what you represent, neither is who are your friends and who are your enemies. Your Nobel speach in which you defended wars while taking a Prize of Peace characterizes you the best. You lose people that way, Mr. President, and it is time to reclaim them. Go there- it is your duty to fight for their souls againt the evil forces. It is your duty as a President, as a leader, as a father and as a man. Glenn Beck and company should not feel that they can perform their blashemy at the memorial of the Honest Abe. It is your hour, Mr. President; now or never.

I don't care if you need a security detail. Bring your detail with you. Hang a helicopter gunship over there if necessary. You are the most powerful man in the world- show your power. But come. Speak, tell those people who you are and what you stand for and why they are deceived and what is the truth. Follow Honest Abe, Sir. He never abandoned his people. You claim to be the man of the People, Mr. President. There they are. They wait for you. Come, please.
