Conservatives will argue for a free market and they will say the free market doesn't owe you a job. You should be paid only what you you are worth on the blessed free market. Unfortunately, the free market isn't free, The free market is an owned property, so if your are a firefighter or an EMT or school teachers in your home town the conservatives will explain, that if you don't like your pay and benefits you can pack up leave and go elsewhere.

They argue from the perspective that the free market owns everything. Democracy? Freedom? Liberty? Slogans to keep you going to work, to earn profits for the free market? No, you earn profits for individuals who invest their money into  buying things like politicians. Or maybe they will take their millions or billions and run for office themselves, on a lark. Something to do between golf games and yachting regattas.

The events unfolding in Madison Wisconsin are a new day in an old struggle. A struggle between a mythical free market versus millions of American working individuals. The timing of this event by the Republican Governor of Wisconsin was very astute, to use the bad economy to turn worker against worker. To form and shape the issues with the assistance of the right wing (free market media) as greedy workers versus an impoverished state.

Buried in the Governor's budget are plans to sell off state assets without competitive bidding, what about the free market? Why, after the union has agreed to spending cuts why must they give up their right to collective bargaining? I'll tell you why, because the free market commands it! And in doing so exposes the ruthless fact that there is no free market, there is only a slave market. The largest and best funded union in the world is the US Chamber of Commerce, it is a union for corporate America.

The Chamber's largest contributor is the oil industry followed by the healthcare industry. This union lobbies Congress for the benefit of their membership. There is your free market, they see no contradiction in big business organizing and lobbying for advantages and changes in the law that benefit themselves. They spend tens of millions of dollars fighting against you! Fighting for higher prices for you! Fighting against tougher legislation that might help you!

They've got the money and the power, they've got their Quisling in the White House whose outraged by the events in Libya and silent about the events in Madison. Silent about a Republican Governor trying to legislate away powers granted by Federal law. Powers that if taken away in any other Western nation would outrage dear Quisling, but his voice in Madison is not heard.

The purpose of legitimate government is to defend the populace, the wealthy always have had access to government. The Quisling's silence is emblematic of a turn down a dark hallway, low lights flickering from the fires of public unrest. It is not just a government failing, it is a government falling away, delegitimizing itself. Siding in silence with those it should be reigning in and regulating. A government that owes nothing to its people is owed nothing in return. A government that sides against its people isn't even owed existence. That rule is universal, it is just as true in Madison Wisconsin as it is in Cairo Egypt or Tripoli Libya.

These hidden faces, these puppet masters are no different than Hosni Mubarak or Moamar Gadaffi. They think that they own this world. They think that you are just some sad sack pile of crap to be used and manipulated for their ends. If you begin to get uppity or agitated they will throw some red meat and whiskey to the thundering herd, Abortion, go get it! Gun control, go get it! Gay marriage, go get it! Using the false flag or your phony patriotism to divide us they will use the first born sons of the suckers to get what they want which is more money! They want to wall off the Persian Gulf and make it a playground for the parasites while they take what they want from working people.

The free press, the media, the fourth estate, private corporations whose ultimate goal is to make money by selling the news. C-span paid for by corporate America, MSNBC a partnership between Microsoft and NBC. ABC owned by the Walt Disney Corporation. CBS owned by Viacom the second largest entertainment corporation in the world. Do you like Country music? They own it, buying up the Nashville Network, MTV? They own that too. AC Neilson says that CBS programing s available in 96.98 percent of all American households. NBC has recently merged with Comcast to create a new model in television delivery.  Fox? Well, what really needs to be said about Fox that you don't all ready know.

This is your free press, any successful Internet portal is bought up by a media conglomerate and castrated. Of course there is NPR and PBS but the conservatives want to gut the government funding for those two entities don't they? They want to leave the free market in place because they own it. They own your radio and your television, they own your movies and your restaurants. They own your music, in short they own America and they think that they own you too!

This is the true meaning of the struggle in Madison Wisconsin, it is a power struggle. The rich and the powerful using government to force their will upon the populace. To squeeze out and silence the voice of the people because to the free market boys the will of the people doesn't matter. They want tort reform because you little people aren't entitled to your day in court. They wanted deep water oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and by God they got it, didn't they? They wanted genetically modified crops and they got that too. They've gotten used to getting their way in America, it's become a bad habit. Your voice is silenced and locked out while corporate voices are welcomed and invited in.

This is the age old dream of American Republicanism, to shrink government until it is small enough to be drowned in a bathtub. Just how do you go about shrinking government? You call for tax cuts and tell the populace that you are getting government off of their backs. You push for free trade agreements that make American workers compete against third world wage scales. This forces a dwindling of union membership and when you have weakened them sufficiently then you attack them directly in places like Madison Wisconsin.

To weaken government until it is a slave of the free market, but you know, the free market is an imprecise term. Let's give it a new name. Let's call it the party or better still, let's call it Big Brother. Big Brother has created a one party political system with a moderate Republican Quisling in the middle with extreme's of Republicanism on either side.

Working diligently for the creation of the peasant state and the ruling elite. Our leadership chosen from the ranks of the best and the brightest to be found in corporate America. Twenty first century feudalism coming to flesh. Realty Trac reported that the number of cash only purchases of single family homes has soared from 10 percent of the market to 32 percent of the market. Those who once foreclosed on the owners are buying back properties for pennies on the dollar.

Free trade has caused a slide in workers wages which makes public sector workers appear to be over paid. They aren't over paid, you are under paid, until you can't afford your house. You can't afford your health insurance and then you have none. The mortgage crisis was manufactured to take from the millions and to give to the few. It was a wealth transfer scheme, get it? The free market, (Big Brother) tanked the economy, to precipitate the mortgage crisis which in turn has lowered home ownership rates to record lows. Property values have fallen more than in the last Great Depression and the banks losses are covered with record low interest rates which are subsidized by you the tax payer through collusion between the Treasury and the Federal Reserve.

I who am I? Born at the pinnacle of American prosperity to parents raised during the last great depression. I was the youngest child of the youngest children born almost between the generations and that in fact clouds and obscures who it is that (more...)
