Mike Ferner points out how our leaders are so worried we'll become number two militarily-- which is false concern anyway-- when the reality is we are so much lower down on so many other measures. The politicians who ignore all the other measures in order to maintain our military spending-- there's only one word for them-- well, maybe two or three--
sociopaths- the ones who take money and donations and promises of jobs upon retirement from lobbyists
Cowards-- those who are afraid to vote to take care of their constituents and vote instead with their party or with the lobbyists who bought their TV ads.
Actually, two will do. We have to get rid of both kinds, starting with their leaders, starting with Harry Reid.
And we have to be sure that Hillary Clinton is not the woman the Democrats nominate in three years. She's just another one of the sociopaths. Sorry, there's no sweetening up the assessment.
A woman will win the 2016 elections if one or both parties run one. We should be fighting to make sure that she is a woman who stands for progressive and moderate principles, not the right wing hawk and corporatist values that Hillary has shown she embraces so thoroughly. My first choice is Elizabeth Warren.
