Krystal Ball exposed the orchestrated hit job on progressives at the Democratic Debate in South Carolina. It was clear the audience was rigged. It backfired.

It was amusing watching the attacks on Bernie Sanders. He welcomed them and he should because it is nowhere close to what Donald Trump and his cabal will ultimately do.

The debate moderators were terrible in that they made no serious attempt to stop other candidates from speaking over Bernie and others. Even the generally respectful Buttigieg was rude in interrupting Sanders as he was attempting to show the irrefutable math that makes Single-Payer Medicare for All more efficient and much less expensive than our evil and immoral healthcare fraud of a system that is the foundation of America's failed private health insurance system.

Krystal Ball noted something that many of us heard. The audience was decidedly biased against the progressives which have not been the case throughout the other debates. While the DNC claims the same rules to populate the debate hall was the same as before, the behavior in the room seems to imply some sort of rigging.

It is important to note that in the long run, none of this matters. The election by the good people of South Carolina and throughout the Super Tuesday states will determine what Americans really want. Suffice it to say, the behavior in that debate hall created a segue into Establishment scrutiny. The sad reality is that we have an Establishment that is subservient to moneyed interests.
