There is a growing list of Trump appointees and administration people who are refusing to subpoenas to appear before congress. Trump is stonewalling and saying there will be no cooperation. It is time to show Trump and the American people that the Democrats were elected to control the House for a reason, and that they are going to do their job.

They must begin arresting, imprisoning and fining the people who refuse to show up and testify. And they should do it soon, before the American public thinks they are too weak and do not have the strength to do the job. This idea is becoming a part of the conversation. It was brought up on Morning Joe this morning and people are tweeting about it.

In the video below the speaker says congress has the right to arrest and imprison people who refuse to respond to subpoenas, and the big question is, why in the hell are they not doing it?

Democrats Have To Start Jailing Trump Officials Who Won't Comply As more and more members of the Trump administration continue to refuse to comply with subpoenas and summons', their disdain for the rule of law is no longer ...

And there's lots of tweeting going on.

The way I see it, members of congress commit in an oath to protect the constitution. They do that by holding hearings to get to the truth, especially hearings with appointees who must be held accountable. They don't have to be impeachment hearings. They're just hearings. The American people spoke and gave the House Majority leader, the head of the House Judiciary Committee the power. They should be exercising it. Failure to do so is a betrayal of their duty and, equally bad a demonstration of their weakness and cowardice. There should be an uprising under way in the House with elected representatives demanding that this happen sooner rather than later. My own preference is to see Steven Mnuchin publicly arrested, perp-walked in handcuffs and imprisoned until he releases Trump's tax returns. Then I'd like to see Stephen Miller jailed-- hopefully for the rest of Trump's term in office. Though I think the rodent will turn over quickly when he finds himself in prison.
