Is There Any Doubt Who's Shredding Our Nation?

When one steps back and takes a look at where our nation stands in 2014 only a severe headache brought on by dismay can result. How could we allow a once strong nation fall to such depths?

To be sure we have had our bumps and bruises along the way. We had an attempted assassination of a President, although there was some concern that the shooter just happened to have a meeting scheduled with the son of the Vice President on the following day, but there was no real investigation further into that matter. We have had U.S. Senator and his family killed in a mysterious plane crash in which FBI agents were on the site almost at the same time as the plane went down, yet there was no investigation into that even though the Vice President of the U.S. had just days before warned the Senator that if he voted "No" to going to "war" with Iraq there could be terrible consequences. He voted "No".

We have had our own United States Supreme Court forego the Constitution and have five of their members overrule millions of voters by naming the President of the United States. Instead of seeing the laws are within our Constitution, as the Court's role is, these five individuals overruled the Constitution and made their own law, but they did state this decision should not be held as precedent setting. That would appear to show they knew what they were doing was illegal, but they had to have the man they were paid to have in the office.

We have witnesses the mass murders of September 11, 2001 which changed a great deal. Some had asked for a "new Pearl Harbor event" to expedite this change. I refer to the 9/11 murders as our "Reichstag Fire" episode as it brought on our version of the Enabling Act, the Patriot Act a near thousand page document that just happened to closely resemble the German Enabling Act with a few minor differences.   For example the Enabling Act referred to their country as the "Fatherland" while the Patriot Act used "Homeland", but the gist of the acts was similar, strip the people of certain rights through dismantling the Constitution. Also similar to the Reichstag Fire there was no independent investigation of the incident as the only agenda of those looking at the murders was to confirm what the government had told the people.

We have had a devastating robbery of Americans that has not only severely destroyed the quality of life among average Americans, but is threatening the status of the US dollar. The outcome of any "investigation" of this devastation is the perpetrators are merely "too big to fail", thus a new set of laws was established.

There have been other "bumps" that we could have withstood, however, there has also been a battle from within taking place that has been happening without much notice of the people, yet we have been actually told what to expect by one of the orchestrators, David Koch, in 1980 when he ran for the Presidency of the United States of America as a Libertarian.

As part of his platform he urged the repeal of federal campaign finance laws. As we look at today's environment we have seen two U.S. Supreme Court, yes those "felonious five" again, deciding that money is speech and those who have money can spend as much as they wish for whomever they wish and they can do it without having to say they are doing it. As a result our election campaign are fraught with $Billions spent on media advertising and the Corporate Media Propagandists are relishing in spewing whatever they are paid to spew, false or true it makes no difference to them as long as they are paid and paid well.

As a result, we even have foreign countries paying to persuade voters who to vote for only we don't know that because we cannot know who is "contributing".

Also, back in 1980 David Koch voiced that he favored the abolition of Medicare and Medicaid programs. Since that time the Koch machine has been bribing elected officials to push for laws that would do this. Presently, Paul Ryan has been the federal "champion" on this matters with his many budget proposals and the Corporate Media Propagandists have been paid dearly to spew as much negative propaganda regarding these programs as well as the Social Security system, which most Americans will now believe is bankrupt. Back in 1980 David Koch told the people, "We favor the repeal of the fraudulent, virtually bankrupt, and increasingly oppressive Social Security system. Pending that repeal, participation in Social Security should be voluntary." Since that time we have seen the push for the 401(k) plan which was introduced in the late 80's and has been touted as the way to "privatize" Social Security.

Abolishing the governmental Postal Service was another of Koch's agenda items. Since that time changes have taken place within the system and a law was passed that mandates the Postal Service to heavily overpay into its retirement fund, thus making it appear the Service cannot function profitably. In reality this law has the system paying for the retirement of people not even born yet and is putting an extreme hardship on the Postal Service, which does not function on tax dollars, but on the stamps and services it sells. The push to "privatize" the Postal Service continues through Koch dollars, paid for legislators, and the Corporate Media Propagandists. The recent move is to remove Saturday delivery from the Postal Service, in order to "save money". In reality it is simply to eliminate a service not provided by FedEx or UPS so when they turn the US Postal Service over to one of them, or both, the people will not see the move as taking anything away. The big question, "Who will receive the bloated retirement fund?" You can darn well bet it will not be the people for whom it was intended. Heck, many of them aren't even born yet.

Koch was also against "government" schools, whatever they may be. Perhaps he was against Public Schools, hence the major push toward "privatizing" education. Actually his reasoning behind doing away with the "government" school was it leads to indoctrination of children and interferes with free choice of individuals. Koch stated that government ownership, operation, regulation, and subsidy of schools and colleges should be ended. By "government" it is assumed he means "the people" who should not have a say in their children's education. Koch goes on to recommend the repeal of all taxes on the income or property of private schools, whether they are profit or non-profit.

These are but a few of the items Koch's platform for the 1980 Presidential campaign. He lost that campaign, but his platform definitely did not die. He and his brother began investing in the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) which in the beginning targeted state legislatures. Presently, there are over 2000 State legislators, over 100 U.S. legislators, nine Governors with close ties to ALEC and the Koch brothers. One of the "distinguished" alums of ALEC is John Boehner, Speaker of the House of Representatives who the Corporate Media Propagandists continue to portray as a hostage to the Tea Party, a Koch backed movement. In reality, Boehner, along with Eric Cantor, is one of them. He blocks votes because there are not enough Tea Partiers to get the legislation passed, hence he doesn't bring it to the floor. You can bet the Kochs, and their dollars, are working on getting more Tea Party candidates in office.

While most of those agenda items have come to fruition, or at least under great debate, there are still others: abolishing the Environment Protection Agency, abolishing the Department of Energy, dissolving the Department of Transportation, abolishing the Federal Aviation Administration, abolishing the Food and Drug Administration, supporting an end to all subsidies for child-bearing including all welfare plans and the provision of tax-supported services for children, all government welfare, relief projects, and aid to the poor programs should be voluntary only. Koch called for the repeal of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and abolishing the Consumer Production Safety Commission.

While most of these have been advanced through their ALEC minions a more devastating has not yet come into debate, however may well be on the near horizon as water systems are being contaminated and greatly threatened as a result of mining through fracking, pipelines, poisoning through chemicals in crops, and other. In 1980 Koch called for the privatization of the inland waterways, and of the distribution system that brings water to industry, agriculture, and households. As water is the lifeblood of all living things, to have it in the control of an entity whose sole goal is "profit" should make you open your eyes and stop being a "NotSee".
