Each day, one site that I tend to view and devour is Politico.com and low and behold this morning, I came across a story where the McCain campaign launched an ad attacking Senator Barack Obama concerning his association with Bill Ayers. One must ask is the McCain campaign in the throes of total desperation as they see the electoral map disappearing right before their eyes? Is this the best hope they can give Americans due to the crisis that has hit all of us through the deregulation of banks? This does not show any leadership, but a man prone to rage that will do anything possible to become the next president of the United States.
If we are going to play tit-for-tat, the American people NEED to watch this video which calls into question his temper and yes rage. Please pay attention to what certain military personnel have to say of John McCain. Do we need a hot-head in control of OUR nuclear codes? In fact you will hear someone say, “Do you trust him with the button?” This is about his behavior in the past and most likely the present. It does not involve who he has crossed paths with.
What is relevant to our world, John McCain is the economy and not some scurrilous ad hashed together and sent out to those still undecided voters and those who will choose to vote for Barack Obama. The fear card ends today. McCain states, “Who is the real Barack Obama?” and we the American people would like to know “Who is the real John McCain?” who has cowered and given into President Bush time-after-time.
When it comes to his own medical records which are very relevant to our world: Why has he refused to release them to the American people? After all, he has had several cancerous melanomas. He is 72 years-old and we have the right to know if he is going to keel over and die within his first term if elected.
In fact an abbreviated ad based on this feed called into question your health. It was briefly aired on MSNBC, and was pulled from further airing. Who pulled it? We as Americans have the right to know, John McCain!
Should McCain die in office, Americans will have a President Palin to lead this country. The Wall Street Journal ran a column calling into question Palin’s qualifications based on a poll they took. The article states, "Asked, “Do you feel that Sarah Palin is qualified to be president if the need arises, or is she not qualified to be president?” 49% of all respondents said the Alaska governor is not qualified while 40% said she is." I would love to know who those 40 percent are that feel she is qualified. Now compare that to where “64%, said Biden, Barack Obama’s running mate, is qualified”
I for one do not want anyone near that White House that plays to America’s fears since we have had a belly full. Also, Palin in her recent remarks played with fire. It was great to see Joe Biden answer her back by stating what she said was “wrong” and full of “malarkey”
What is relevant to our world, John McCain is this article that ran in today’s Miami Herald. Pay attention to the opening passage which states, "The Fed's announcement of a rate cut before U.S. financial markets opened was unable to stave off a sixth straight day of losses."
You want to speak of fear? In reading this article, it states, “the fear running wild on Wall Street is proving difficult to contain.” That is people’s hopes and dreams disappearing right before their eyes and yet, John McCain’s answer to all of this is yet another smarmy attack ad directed at Barack Obama.
What must be hurting Americans financially as well as emotionally is this, "Markets are manic depressive, and they're really in a depressed state right now,'' said Alan Blinder, a former Fed vice chairman in the 1990s, now a Princeton University economics professor. “I thought for at least one day, wrongly, that this [rate cut] would help the market psychology. It's disappointing.''
John McCain needs to speak to this one issue, then again, I refuse to give him any advice. In fact as I listen to many of the pundits on television, I hear from them what McCain needs to do in order to turn things around in his favor. My answer back to these pundits is: If he cannot even figure out how to run an effective campaign, does he even deserve to be elected to the highest office in the land? To these media pundits, please do not help McCain anymore. In my opinion those who need the help are the American people themselves. On Election Day Americans deserve to celebrate by saying, “Our long national nightmare is now over”
