While Many celebrate the opening of the United States Embassy, last Friday, August 14th in Havana, Cub and the formalizing of relations between Cuba and the United States " And, while many see Cuba as an ultimate gold mine to be mined err, exploited, the reality is that Cuba's economy is crumbling" as are the buildings and infrastructure in general.

It is also true that because the people there are so poor, so unable to provide for self and/or family they will be willing to work for pennies...which will be paid to them by the Castro government, while the Castro Brothers receive the greater amount of American dollars for allowing the American businesses to "invest" in Cuba. Sad, isn't it?

The reality is that while the Castro Revolution promised to be a Revolution for the Poor and the Oppressed--it ended up oppressing all and making everyone poor..," as Rosa Maria Paya, the daughter of slain Osvaldo Paya, said in an interview with Oscar Haza during his televion Program Aqui Y Ahora.

In this video, Yuri Valle Roca, an independent reporter in Havana Cuba, interviews residents of Oreli Street in Old Havana and documents the crumbling infrastructure of the buildings in that Street--a scene which plays throughout all of Cuba and has become the norm under the Castro Brothers ..

The two ladies in the video are crying because they fear that the roof of their building will fall on top of them while they are asleep and kill them... this happened , they say to one of their friends and neighbor in the same building.

They blame the government of the Castro brothers--not the American embargo--for this crumbling of the infrastructure in Cuba" and the poverty faced by Cubans in Cubna.

This is the reality in Cuba; it is the reality that the Castros are hiding behind their not allowing tourists and American embassy workers to wander or ramble about beyond the perimeter of the zone allowed to them by said Castro Brothers and their repressive regime..
