Hypocrisy or Democracy?

In this land of liberty,

There's a lot of talk

About Democracy.

There's a Constitution

And the Rule of Law.

We would like it like

It was before.

So, maybe even just for fun,

They should apply to everyone.

If the new guy

Knows what's right

And wrong, he

Will let the courts

Decide where

You belong.

Moving ahead sounds very good

But first due process in the neighborhood.

If the judge determines you broke our laws,

And what we espouse is true,

I hope your jailers have more class than you.
