On Wednesday 8/12/09 Rowan University faculty students independently confirmed excess heat and a new form of hydrogen based on the Black Light Process. The energy gains reported were not nearly as impressive as the energy gains announced previously with reactor and materials supplied to the University by Black Light Power. The gains were only 3.5 to 6.5 times higher than chemically possible, far less than last Octobers validation also by Rowan University BLP's proprietary recipe for Rayney nickel. The breakthrough here is that this was a true "replication" from scratch, using materials purchased off the shelf by the college. It also means the path to replication has now been simplified and we can expect the experiment to be repeated globally in the near future.

The controversy should have been settled long ago but semantics and politics are alive and well. I believe both sides are actually correct when they argue whether the hydrino is real or "unphysical". I am convinced the hydrino IS unphysical but only in the same sense that the "Twin Paradox" from Physics 101 is unphysical. You can't make measurements between two frames while one twin is at C and then expect the results to make sense to the earth bound twin experiencing time at one second per second. Just like the twin who arrives home to find his sibling has aged, the hydrogen outside the cavity finds the returning hydrogen has aged and experienced numerous reactions due to time dilation and Lorentz scaling effects that can cause oscillation in a Rigid catalyst. The gas is physically constrained, pushed by gas law to diffuse while also preferring the molecular state. The opposing forces are there and Lorentz contraction provides the means to scale the atoms down to a geometry where the forces approach balance. Once balanced, you have diffusion breaking bonds to get molecules out of confinement and then these atoms change fractional state and reform new fractional state molecules, over and over until they escape the cavity or melt the cavity closed.
