We are all fine here. The whole city of Latakia has sighed a collective sigh of relief. We feel that we have a friend who has come to our aide. The various reports on Russia Today are well done and do truthfully report what is going on here.
We have not seen any ground troops. So far, it is airplanes, technicians, all the pilots and support persons needed to fly missions. It is a huge group near Latakia.
We can see and hear the jets above us. It gives us a feeling of hope. We were afraid that the coast might be attacked by the terrorists, but the Russians have saved us.
We are just now watching the news of the missiles fired from the Caspian Sea. We are all hopeful that the terrorists can be stopped. Will they run back to: Turkey; Lebanon; Jordan? What will happen to those terrorists? Will they fade into the woodwork? Will they re-group in another place and make more trouble? Will their sponsors and funders stop?
If you have time, check out what is going on in Saudi Arabia. It appears to be on the brink of regime change, or going broke. That may be the new "big" story to follow.
