I'd like to see both candidates challenge the other to take stands and positions on some issues.

It would be good to see this happen at a debate, where the candidates can answer quickly, basing their answers on their inner compass and lifetime of viewing the issues. Moderators could present the position or action and each candidate could say yes or no, and a minute explaining why.
The issue would not be how practical they are, but the candidate's position and intent.
Here are some examples:
  • Cancel and renegotiate job destroying trade deals like TPP, NAFTA, CAFTA, etc., that favor transnational corporations
  • Use a litmus test to only appoint Supreme court nominees who agree to reverse Citizens United and McCutcheon
  • Kiil the Keystone XL pipeline
  • Break up the too big to fail banks and financial companies-- not look into it-- do it.
  • Prosecute executives from bank and finance companies that have been fined billions
  • Commit to ending the use of coal for electricity by the end of your first term
  • commit to a $15/hour minimum wage
  • End the law that prevents negotiation with pharmaceutical companies for lower prices
  • lift the cap on social security taxes so every one, no matter their income, pays the same percentage.
  • reinstate Glass Steagall
  • pardon all the people in jail for marijuana possession

  • What are your ideas?
