Is this the kind of Foreign Policy America truly wants its president to implement?

An 11 second clip, with HRC getting a big laugh out of "the rebels" killing Gaddafi. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fgcd1ghag5Y

This is the same Sanders opponent who on Feb. 12 in the Milwaukee debate said that Henry Kissinger was her mentor, to which Sanders immediately responded: "Now, I find it rather amazing, because I happen to believe that Henry Kissinger was one of the most destructive secretaries of state in the modern history of this country. " I am proud to say that Henry Kissinger is not my friend. I will not take advice from Henry Kissinger." Clinton responded that Sanders has failed to answer questions about whom he would have advise him on foreign policy. Sanders told her, "Well, it ain't Henry Kissinger. That's for sure."

I never was any kind of fan of Gaddafi, in any sense or at any time, but back in the early 1970's, I did welcome the first duly elected President of Chile, Salvador Allende, who was dispensed with via efforts of Henry Kissinger, catapulting Chile into a ghastly draconian era of murder of anyone deemed to be "suspicious," the reign of General Pinochet with those 30,000 "disappeared" Chileans. This was of minor conjecture at that time, difficult to determine the full truth of, but all was verified and revealed in the release of NSA files 13 years ago.

Presidential candidates always above all discuss the domestic needs of America, but the Presidency has major international roles. I have read many articles and conducted my own conversations with many foreigners visiting Santa Fe, who have uniformly clarified that many world leaders already support Sanders and are hoping for Bernie to win.

Although it is concealed in campaign rhetoric thus far, but at all concealed in examining her record as US Secretary of State, Clinton is far more of a hawk than even George Bush II was.

When you, the archetypal Bernie supporter, continues to work diligently to elect Bernie in the remaining primary states, please remember this: you are working to prevent future purposefully renewed vendettas to keep the arms producers and Wall Street happy, and thousands of inner city people of color and poor white teenagers coming home in body bags or maimed by warfare.

This is a humble but sincere and solemn warning to the United States. To quote someone I rarely agree with (but in this case he is absolutely right on), Charles Krauthammer wrote in a Washington Post column March 29 about the four leading candidates potential foreign policies:

"Hillary Clinton, internationalist

The 'Clinton/Obama' foreign policy from Ukraine to Iran to the South China Sea has been a demonstrable failure. But in trying to figure out what President Clinton would do in the future, we need to note that she often gave contrary advice, generally more assertive and aggressive than President Obama's, that was overruled, most notably keeping troops in Iraq beyond 2011 and early arming of the Syrian rebels.

[In Krauthammer's opinion:] The Libya adventure was her grand attempt at humanitarian interventionism. She's been chastened by the disaster that followed.

Her worldview is traditional, post-Vietnam liberal internationalism -- America as the indispensable nation, but consciously restraining its exercise of power through multilateralism and near-obsessive legalism."

About Bernie, Krauthammer wrote: "As for ends, Sanders' foreign policy objectives are invariably global and universal, beginning above all with climate change. The rest is foreign-policy-as-social-work do-goodism, most especially undoing the work of U.S. imperialism."

If you remove the influence of big banks, Wall Street, and multinational American-based corporations, the entire picture changes, and the prognosis for the ailing patient, the United States, vastly improves, and nowhere as quickly nor as prominently as in our Foreign Policy, a kind of reversal of our own evolving imperialism back to something saner and more cost effective. To continue more of that will hold calamitous backfires and repercussions, like we saw resulting from Libya:

From an article by Eric Margolis in March 7 Opednews entitled "Hillary Haunted by Libya":

"Hillary Clinton, who is bankrolled by heavy-duty neocons, holds chief responsibility for two calamities: the overthrow of Qaddafi and Syria's terrible civil war. Qaddafi had been restraining numerous North African jihadist groups. After his overthrow, they poured south into the Sahel and sub-Saharan regions, menacing western-dominated governments. We also learn that Clinton's State Department green lighted over copy50 billion of arms sales to 16 repressive nations that had donated large sums to the Clinton Foundation -- a sort of government in exile for the Clinton clan."

The video below includes the last minutes of Gaddafi's life (be forewarned: this is very graphic); this shows precisely how Gaddafi's life ended. This is what the Democrat front runner is laughing about. There is so much at stake internationally in this primary election.

What are your ideas on the directions US Foreign Policy should take?
