Galveston is under water.
Probably won't sleep much tonight.
Those weather newscasters are a kick, aren't they?
Got calls from my mum. She's in a panic, complaining that we should have left, while we had the chance.
On the phone with our daughter. She decided to stay in her apartment with he partner and our granddaughter. Now their power's out and she's sorry. Says they're getting very hot.
Our grandson is here and glued to his iphone. And my wife is hurriedly gathering items for our fall-back spot in the bathroom.
TV says Houston is getting major wind and rain.
I walked out our back door, into a rush of noise and trees being jerked every which way. Hope those tall trees in our front yard stay put. We have a couple of pines that are 40 foot high. If one of those comes down on our roof, it will be a disaster.
More later.
