Headlines in the World's Only Great Newspaper: Starting This Past Weekend, Till Today
Eric Zuesse
Where can one go in order to find honestly reported news in the English language? I have long searched to find the answer to that question; and here is what I have discovered.
Newspapers and other 'news' media in the U.S. and throughout the world are so unreliable that I have long been searching in vain at http://www.onlinenewspapers.com/ to see even just one English-language newspaper about national and international affairs that is honest -- meaning, to me, reliable in truthfulness, and reporting all events that seem to me to be historically important, in order for anyone to be able to understand where the world is actually trending, and how it's trending the way it is.
Then, I finally discovered one such newspaper, except that it's not in the English language; it's in German, but it can be read in English via the automatic translation feature in google chrome. So, I now introduce it to you here below, for your consideration to become your major news source, as it now will be mine.
In my view, this newspaper is far superior to any in the English language, and is well worth the linguistic clumsiness of reading an auto-translation in order for this newspaper to serve as my primary news-source, rather than The New York Times, Guardian, or any English-language newspaper. I am now using this newspaper to supplement the only reliably honest English-language news-sources that are on the Web, which are the following five general news-sites in English: rinf.com, and washingtonsblog.com, and opednews.com, and globalresearch.ca, and smirkingchimp.com. (Though I submit my own news reports to virtually all English-language 'news' media, those are the only ones that didn't blackball me after I started to report on Obama's coup in Ukraine, and on the May 2nd massacre in Odessa that was organized and hired by the new Obama-installed Ukrainian Government, and on the subsequent ethnic cleansing war that was waged by this new Ukrainian Government to get rid of the voters for the man whom Obama had overthrown. You can read about all of those matters at those sites, as well as at the specialized news site, ukrainewar.info, which I and several other independent journalists have recently started to bring together the best news coverage of the war in Ukraine. All of the other 'news' media in the English language (other than Russia's sites such as RT, and Vineyard of the Saker) have been essentially blacking-out the truth about this year's events in Ukraine, or else blacking out other key truths (such as Obama's fight since just before he became President to weaken Social Security, which Huffington Post and a few others had allowed me to publish), and they possess therefore no reliability, in my opinion.
I've not yet found anything that is dishonestly covered in the following newspaper, and so I shall be reading this newspaper regularly, from here on.
Here, then, below, are the main headlines and summaries this past weekend in Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten, or German Economic News, auto-translated here via google, with the pictures removed, presented below in order to give you a fair idea of the main stories that this newspaper was covering this past Saturday and Sunday, and of the angle or focus in each of these news-reports. I highlight in heavy type the main headlines within these summaries. After the weekend's stories are listed and summarized, I shall present (without boldfaces) below that, the news stories since the weekend.
I start with the weekend's stories so that, if the U.S. 'news' media have ignored a particular one of them, you will already be able to know that, since all of the weekend's stories are already at least two days old.
